    Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a data transferring apparatus to communicate with a communicating apparatus through a network in accordance with a predetermined protocol, including: a writing controller and a transmission controller. The writing controller performs control of writing a first response message containing first data to a storage. The transmission controller performs control of reading the first response message from the storage and transmitting the first response message to the communicating apparatus, upon receiving a data acquisition request message for the first data from the first communicating apparatus.

The processor includes a specifying part configured to specify data per block to be transmitted from the storage, and an indicating part configured to indicate data transfer from the storage to the protocol processing apparatus by specifying address information of the protocol processing apparatus. The protocol processing apparatus includes a receiving part configured to directly receive data transferred per block from the storage to the I/O bus, without relaying the main memory, and a network processing part configured to transmit the data received per block by the receiving part over a network per packet.

    Abstract: There is provided a data transferring apparatus that transfers file data stored in a storage apparatus that manages data in a block unit, in which the first issuing unit, in response to a request from a CPU, generates and sends a reading command of metadata including first map information showing in which location first file data is stored, to the storage apparatus, the second issuing unit receives a reading command of the first file data from the CPU that has obtained the metadata, generates and sends a reading command of a block storing the first file data to the storage apparatus, the extracting unit receives block data read from the storage apparatus, receives the first map information from the CPU and, based on the first map information, extracts the first file data from the block data, and the communication processing unit transmits the first file data to the network.

    Abstract: A data transmitting device divides application data into packets, transmits the packets, and continuously carries out packet transmission while receiving acknowledgement from a receiving device of the transmitted packets. The application data to be transmitted is stored in a data storage area of a data storage unit. The data is read from the data storage area, a sequence number is set, and the data is transmitted as the packet. If the read data is within a predetermined length from an end of the application data, a copy of the read data is saved in a temporary buffer area of the data storage unit. When data of a sequence number before that of first data of next application data is to be transmitted after transmission of the next application data is started, the data is read from the temporary buffer area of the data storage unit.
