Patent number: 11505185Abstract: A driving assist device for a vehicle sets a a roadway area ahead of the vehicle, detects an avoidance target existing ahead of the vehicle, and executes collision avoidance control that avoids a collision between the vehicle and the avoidance target. The collision avoidance control is more likely to be executed when the avoidance target is within the roadway area than when the avoidance target is outside the roadway area. The driving assist device detects a roadway end object and a first lane marking of a first lane in which the vehicle exists. An imaginary position is a position apart from the detected position of the roadway end object toward the first lane by a constant distance. The driving assist device sets the imaginary position or the detected position of the the first lane marking as a boundary position of the roadway area based on a predetermined condition.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2020Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Assignee: TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Satoshi Nakamura, Minami Sato, Kazuyuki Fujita, Takahisa Awata

Patent number: 9609204Abstract: An auto-focus device, for eliminating an uncomfortable feeling when phase difference AF is switched to optical path length difference AF when an arbitrary area is set as a focusing target area, and a method for controlling operation of the same. A desired area is set as the focusing target area. Until a first threshold value position is reached, the focus lens is moved based on a phase difference AF evaluation value obtained from a phase difference AF sensor so as to bring the center portion of the imaging area into focus. Until a second threshold value position is reached, the focus lens is moved based on a phase difference AF evaluation value which is obtained from a signal of an area corresponding to the set focusing target area. When the focus lens reaches the second threshold value position, the focus lens is positioned at the focusing position.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2015Date of Patent: March 28, 2017Assignee: FUJIFILM CorporationInventors: Takashi Ebato, Takahisa Sato, Aiko Sekiya

Publication number: 20160094781Abstract: This invention provides an auto-focus device, which is for eliminating an uncomfortable feeling when phase difference AF is switched to optical path length difference AF when an arbitrary area is set as a focusing target area, and a method for controlling operation of the same. A cameraman sets a desired area as the focusing target area. Until a focus lens reaches a first threshold value position, the focus lens is moved on the basis of a phase difference AF evaluation value obtained from a phase difference AF sensor so as to bring the center portion of the imaging area into focus. Until the focus lens reaches a second threshold value position, the focus lens is moved on the basis of a phase difference AF evaluation value which is output from a phase difference imaging element and is obtained from a signal of an area corresponding to the set focusing target area.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2015Publication date: March 31, 2016Applicant: FUJIFILM CorporationInventors: Takashi EBATO, Takahisa SATO, Aiko SEKIYA

Patent number: 8873715Abstract: An industrial X-ray tube formed by accommodating a cathode and anode in a container having an evacuated interior, in which electrons emitted from the cathode are caused to strike the anode and X-rays are emitted from the anode. The cathode is formed from graphite. The graphite is a layered crystal obtained by layering a plurality of carbon hexagonal planes. The graphite is cut based on crystal axes of the carbon hexagonal planes. The resulting cut surface is caused to function as an electron-emitting surface. For example, directions of an a- and b-crystal axis may be set so as to be arbitrary between each of the layers of the carbon hexagonal planes, the graphite may be cut along a surface parallel to the c-axis, and the resulting cut surface may be caused to function as an electron-emitting surface. The graphite may also be cut along a surface orthogonal to the c-axis.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2011Date of Patent: October 28, 2014Assignee: Rigaku CorporationInventors: Kiyoshi Ogata, Yoshihiro Takeda, Tetsuo Kani, Makoto Kanbe, Naohisa Osaka, Takahisa Sato
