  • Publication number: 20040194108
Abstract: A system which allows each server in a network to verify the signature of a party issuing a service instruction in a system for providing a cooperative service by allowing servers to send and receive instruction data indicating instructions to each server and to execute the instruction written in the instruction data. An instruction input device receiving an instruction from a service requestor attaches an electronic signature (initiator signature (74)) of the requestor or the instruction input device to an instruction which indicates process content of each server, to create a signed individual instruction (72). The instruction input device further attaches an initiator signature (76) to data in which the signed individual instructions (72) for all servers involved in the service are merged, to create a collective instruction (70). The collective instruction (70) is transmitted to a flow controller controlling the servers.

  • Publication number: 20040192426
Abstract: A service providing system passes an instruction form representing an instruction for each server from one server to another to make the server execute its target instruction in the instruction form while protecting confidentiality of the instruction for each server in the instruction form. By combining page dividing (of outputting a file of a predetermined page extracted from a document file having a plurality of pages) provided by a server with e-mail transmission provided by another server, the system implements a cooperative service of extracting a top page from a file of a document entered into an instruction input unit by a user and sending the top page via e-mail to a predetermined destination. The instruction input unit separately encrypts each description about process details for the servers using a public key for the corresponding server, creates instruction forms containing the encrypted descriptions, and sends the instruction forms to the server providing the page dividing service.

  • Patent number: 5426733
Abstract: Input image data of N bits per pixel is written to and read from buffer memories each having a word length of B bits on a W/N-line basis in the order in accordance with a specified rotation angle and an image size. A word synthesizing circuit synthesizes B/N word data of W bits from W/N readout image data having a word length of B bits so as to produce image data rotated by the specified rotation angle. The synthesized word data are output in the order in accordance with the specified rotation angle while write addresses are generated to store the input image data into a page memory having a word length of W bits with a rotation of the specified rotation angle.

  • Patent number: 5384645
Abstract: An image rotating device includes first and second buffer memories to which image data, sequentially fed, are alternately written every m/n lines with respect to bit width n per pixel of the image data and bit width m per word of a page memory. An image data reader alternately reads m/n lines of image data written to the first and second buffer memories from an address designated in accordance with a set rotational angle with one word of the page memory at a time. An image data writer sequentially writes the image data of one word of the page memory to the address of the page memory designed in accordance with a set rotational angle. The image data are sequentially stored in the page memory with the data being rotated in real time.

  • Patent number: 5373371
Abstract: An image processing apparatus that reads the image on a document by raster scanning and which rotates it at the same time. The apparatus includes a comparing unit for comparing image data in a plurality of scan lines for one scanning direction in an original image including a region to be moved, a calculating unit for calculating deviation from reference lines of the region to be moved on the basis of a result of comparison by the comparing unit, and a moving unit for moving individual pixels in each scan line on the basis of a result of calculation by the calculating unit.
