  • Publication number: 20030014726
Abstract: The wiring method includes determining wirings based on a condition that one through-hole is formed; picking up a pair of wirings that are disposed on different layers and that need to be electrically connected to each other, from among the determined wirings, and extracting areas occupied by the wirings; making a decision about whether or not there exist areas that coincide with each other between the wirings; making a decision about whether or not the coincident areas have space sufficient enough for setting a through-hole; and setting new other through-hole on the coincident areas.

  • Publication number: 20020109283
Abstract: A document binding apparatus is formed to be mounted on an upper surface of a laser beam printer or the like. A paper discharged from the printer is fed to a paper guide, and a paper detecting sensor is turned ON to start the document binding apparatus. The paper is fed to a binding table through a paper lead-in roller, and a paper arranging pusher and a paper arranging rotation brush arrange the paper put on the binding table and an electromotive stapler binds the paper. After the staple process, a paper discharge roller holds the paper and discharges it to a stack tray.

  • Publication number: 20020033735
Abstract: A power amplifier has a front and a rear stage. In the rear stage, to a base of a signal-amplifying bipolar transistor is connected one end of a variable impedance element whose impedance changes according to an input power level. An adjusting circuit is connected between the other end of the variable impedance element and a ground. A DC current adjusting element is connected between the other end of the variable impedance element and a supply voltage terminal. The front stage is made to perform class A operation or class AB operation near class A operation, while the rear stage is made to perform class B operation or class AB operation near class B operation. The distortion characteristic of the rear stage is adjusted by the variable impedance element, the adjusting circuit, and the DC current adjusting element so as to offset the distortion characteristic of the front stage.

  • Patent number: 6190146
Abstract: A scroll member for scroll compressor contains a phenol aralkyl resin and a glass fiber and has feature that the dimensional change rate of the member is 0.05% or below under a chemical stability test condition conducted in an atmosphere in which a refrigerant and a refrigerating machine oil coexist at a high temperature and a high pressure, thereby making the resin scroll member practical and chemically stable. The scroll member may further contain a phenol resin and/or glass beads. The scroll member may be formed by a heat treatment having stepwise temperature increase of a molded material from an initial temperature range of 120 to 140° C. to a final temperature range of 170 to 177° C. The heat treatment can be implemented sequentially, e.g., for four hours or more at a temperature range of 120 to 140° C., for four hours or more at a temperature range of 140 to 170° C., and for four hours or more at a temperature range of 170 to 177° C.

  • Patent number: 5415808
Abstract: A flocculant for water treatment containing a highly polymerized silicic acid solution having a high concentration of SiO.sub.2 and an extremely low concentration of alkali metal substance, and a method for producing such flocculant. • Patent number: 5035967
Abstract: The separator comprises an embossed, thin porous sheet of synthetic material and inorganic powder. The embossed pattern consists of a large number, e.g. 200 to 1300 per cm.sup.2, of spherical projections of equal height arranged in vertical and horizontal rows at regular intervals and forming spherical cavities on the opposite side. The projections on one side are shifted from those on the opposite side so that there are alternating rows of projections and cavities on each side. Gas discharging passages are formed by the lines of communicating cavities and valleys between adjacent projections.

  • Patent number: 4923629
Abstract: A method and flocculant for water treatment in which the highly polymerized silicic acid and a water-soluble salt of a metal capable of forming a hydroxide in water such as aluminum are added to the water to be treated. The highly polymerized silicic acid can be prepared by polymerizing water glass. In the case where the highly polymerized silicic acid and the water-soluble metal salt are prepared as a flocculant in the form of aqueous solution before adding to the water to be treated, the flocculant is maintained at a pH value of not less than about 2 or not lower than about 11. The flocculant may be a silicic acid solution of which the gel time is prolonged by being added with a substance capable to generate ferrice ion in the solution so that the flocculant can maintain high aggregation ability after being stored for a long time. The silicic acid solution may be polymerized before being added with such ferric ion generating substance.

  • Patent number: 4818340
Abstract: The present invention resides in an envelope type separator for a storage battery and the manufacturing process thereof. The separator sheet is comprised of a first, microporous paper layer made of an inorganic powder material, a synthetic organic fiber material and an organic binder, and a second, coarse paper layer made of a synthetic organic fiber material and an organic binder, but no inorganic powder material, these layers being bound together by heating. The resultant separator sheet of combination paper type is then formed so that the mutually inward surfaces of the coarse paper layer are brought into contact with each other and are made to adhere to each other, preferably at the edges, by thermal fusion, so that the separator sheet is formed into the shape of an envelope process for making an envelope type separator sheet is also described.

  • Patent number: 4451311
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for manufacturing a dampening roll cover useful in a flat-bed printing process, comprised of hygro-thermally shrinkable fibers which do not shrink due to exposure to ambient mositure during storage. Such dampening roll covers are prepared by preliminarily shrinking a cylinder of a fibrous fleece comprised of hygro-thermally shrinkable fibers to the extent of about 3% to about 50% in length to compact the fibrous structure of the cylinder.
