  • Patent number: 6123559
Abstract: A smaller mating force connector assembly includes a first connector having a housing and a sliding frame formed with a cam groove, and a second connector having a boss movable along and within the cam groove. The first connector housing receives the sliding frame when the first connector mates with the second connector. The housing of the first connector has a first bracket and the sliding frame has a second bracket. Each bracket has a through hole for receiving a securing bolt the brackets overlap one another so that the through holes align with each other when the first connector housing receives completely the sliding frame. The bracket of the first connector is formed with a recess which fits with the second bracket of the sliding frame when the first connector housing receives completely the sliding frame. The sliding frame has a pair of side plates each formed with the cam groove and a front plate joined to each of the side plates by means of a compensating rib.

  • Patent number: 6044790
Abstract: A manual operating apparatus for an automatic transmission is structured such that a first shift line (L1) and a second shift line (L2) corresponding to a shift direction of a shift lever (2) are disposed side by side and that the shift lever (2) can move to the first shift line (L1) and to the second shift line (L2) with respect to each other. In the manual operating apparatus for an automatic transmission, when the shift lever (2) is positioned in the first shift line (L1), a portion along the first shift line L1 is lighted up, and when the shift lever (2) is positioned in the second shift line (L2), a portion along the second shift line (L2) is lighted up.

  • Patent number: 5901805
Abstract: An automatically guided vehicle includes a single-wheel unit including a first wheel, a paired-wheel unit including second and third wheels, a sensor for detecting a track, a control unit, etc. The first and second wheels are drive wheels that are rotated by motors, individually, while the third wheel is an idler wheel. The control unit executes an angle steering mode during a forward movement or the like and a speed difference steering mode during a sidewise or slantwise movement. In the angle steering mode, the steering angle of that wheel unit, out of the single- and paired-wheel units, which is situated on the rear side in the moving direction is fixed, and the steering angle of the wheel unit on the front side is controlled. In the speed difference steering mode, the guided vehicle is steered along the track by differentiating the respective rotational speeds of the first and second wheels with the respective steering angles of the individual wheels fixed.

  • Patent number: 5706701
Abstract: A wiring-harness connection structure of a transmission shift-lever device including a shift knob with a switch, comprises a conducting line connected to a switch attached to the shift knob at an upper end thereof, the conducting line partially exposed inside of a lower opening end of the shift knob at a lower end thereof to provide a male plug, and a wiring-harness connector having a female receptacle fittable onto the plug, and a caulked portion through which the harness connector is connected to a harness end. A harness holder is detachably fitted to the lower opening end of the shift knob. The harness holder has a harness-end mounting hole, for preventing the harness end from disconnecting from the harness holder by abutment between the caulked portion and the harness holder.

  • Patent number: 5680799
Abstract: A shift lever device for an automatic transmission has a pivotally moveable shift lever. A case receives a lower portion of the shift lever. The case has an interior which is divided into first and second spaced portions. A shift lock mechanism has sensitive electric parts installed in only the second portion. A water stopper member is mounted to the lower portion of the shift lever. The water stopper member is so arranged and constructed as to positively guide liquid flowing down on and along the shift lever and reached thereto, toward only the first portion thereby to protect the sensitive electric parts from the liquid.

  • Patent number: 5529246
Abstract: An outer tube 5 is integrally rotated with a rotating disk 17. A powder supply passage 16 for supply of powder particles is formed between an inner tube 15 and the outer tube 5. A lower end of the inner tube 15 is secured to a sub-disk 23, and a distributing passage 25 is formed as a space between the sub-disk 23 and the rotating disk 17. Air including powder particles introduced into a separation passage 41 is separated into air and powder in the separation passage 41, and the particles are fed to the distributing passage 25 through the powder supply passage 16. The powder particles falling in the powder supply passage 16 undergo a swirling motion in accordance with the rotation of the outer tube 5, and owing to the swirling motion, the powder particles in the powder supply passage 16 are distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 4118151
Abstract: A pump device comprises a pump for pumping a liquid from a liquid source, a rotational driving power source operable continuously, transmission means for transmitting rotational driving power from the power source to the pump, detecting means for detecting the pressure of the liquid pumped and delivered by the pump, and clutch means provided in the power transmission path of the transmission means. The liquid pressure detecting means is adapted to operate accordingly when said liquid pressure fluctuates from a predetermined set pressure to controllably vary the rate of power transmission of said clutch means, while causing the operation of said rotational driving power source to continue uninterruptedly, thereby to control the pump delivery pressure at a constant value.
