  • Publication number: 20070018799
Abstract: A control unit having an immobilizer function includes a circuit for transmitting a request signal within a predetermined range. After receiving a reply signal from an electronic key in response to this request signal once and allowing a movable body to move, when a reply signal to the periodically sent request signal is not received, it is determined that the electronic key is out of the range, and it is assumed that the key has been dropped. A monitor section outputs a warning signal and transmits the warning signal to the navigation unit. A navigation unit, in response to the warning signal, stores the location at that time as the positional information on the electronic key. The navigation unit also displays a map showing the location of a key based on positional information on the electronic key. With this system, a lost electronic key may be readily located.

  • Publication number: 20060187007
Abstract: An electronic key system for a vehicle provides a warning corresponding to a traveling state if an occupant has dropped the electronic key while a vehicle is running. A control unit 14 of the vehicle outputs a request signal Sr to the electronic key 12 at transmission intervals T corresponding to the traveling state. An answer signal Sa caused by the request signal Sr from the electronic key 12 is detected. A warning lamp 68 is lit up at a point after the detection of the answer signal Sa stops. The transmission interval T of the request signal Sr is specified in a map 88 stored in the control unit 14, and is set short corresponding to the increase of the vehicle speed V, the acceleration/deceleration ‘a’, and the yaw rate Y.

  • Publication number: 20060181409
Abstract: An electronic key system 100 for a moving body, for example an all-terrain vehicle 10, includes an electronic key 11 and a control unit 50. The electronic key 11 transmits a control code Md stored in a ROM 76. The control unit 50 reads a speed limit Vs and a power limit Ws out of one of first to fourth control mode data Md1 to Md4, which corresponds to the received control code Md, and supplies the limits to a drive control performing section 104. The drive control performing section 104 controls an engine 22 in accordance with the speed limit Vs and the power limit Ws to limit a travel speed V and power W. This renders the driving performance appropriate to the driving condition and/or the driver.

  • Patent number: 7021294
Abstract: To provide a fuel pump control device allowing a fuel pump having a small capacity to feed a sufficient amount of fuel to an internal combustion engine. During running of a vehicle at a low speed (for example, less than 2,0 km/hr), pulsed drive voltages are intermittently supplied to a fuel pump in accordance with each opening/closing of a thyristor on the basis of ignition pulses of the engine. In this way, the fuel pump repeats discharge operation at a relatively long cycle in synchronization with the pulsed drive voltages. During running of the vehicle at a high speed, a drive voltage is continuously supplied (that is, a DC voltage is supplied) from a power supply line to the fuel pump, whereby the fuel pump repeats discharge operation at a cycle with a short self-excitation state.

  • Publication number: 20060005977
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for a coupling an agricultural implement to an agricultural tractor, in which the operation to release the coupling between the agricultural implement and the agricultural tractor can be easily implemented. When the coupling of the agricultural tractor and the agricultural implement is released, first, a control lever of a coupling hook is slid upward against the urging force of a spring until a second guide pin reaches the lower end of a slit. Next, the control lever is turned forward around the second guide pin until a bent portion of the upper portion and the lower portion of the control lever comes into contact with a first guide pin. As a result, the rear end of a stopper is retracted into a cavity in the hook main body of the device through a second opening so as to slide to the coupling-ball-releasing position, and a groove of the stopper is hooked to a hooking pin so as to be fixed.

  • Publication number: 20050288151
Abstract: A starting system is operable to quickly start an engine of an all-terrain vehicle, even when a transmission gear is at a forward gear position. A CPU detects the gear position of the transmission based on a gear position control signal generated by a shift switch and a diode box. When the transmission gear is neutral or a forward gear position, the CPU enables the engine to start, according to a start command operation performed by the operator, with a crankshaft and the transmission disengaged from one another by a centrifugal clutch. When the transmission gear is in reverse, the engine is prevented from starting.

  • Patent number: 6919502
Abstract: A musical tone generation apparatus is basically configured by a main sound source device installing an extension board. Herein, the main sound source device is configured by a CPU, memories, operators, a music synthesizer, a mixer, an effector and a sound system, while the extension board is configured by fabricating a CPU (or sequencer), memories and a music synthesizer (or effector). When the extension board is installed in the main sound source device, function setting data regarding new functions installed on the extension board is automatically transferred to the main sound source device so that a user is capable of adequately setting and controlling the new functions by using the operators. If the extension board corresponds to a tone color extension board that provides extended tone colors which differ from preset tone colors being installed in the main sound source device in advance, the main sound source device is capable of generating musical tones using the extended tone colors.
