  • Patent number: 7358906
Abstract: In an antenna device, a half wavelength dipole antenna is folded so as to form a forward path section, a folding section and a backward path section such that the backward path section is connected to the substrate at the ground terminal, and an electric power is supplied from the power supply source at the branching point, so as to configure a folded monopole antenna. Also, an additional antenna is folded similarly and connected to the monopole antenna such that the branching point and the power supply section are shared by the monopole antenna and the additional antenna.

  • Patent number: 7354882
Abstract: A carbon monoxide removing catalyst whose catalytic activity is higher than conventional carbon-monoxide-methanation-reaction catalyst comprising an oxide support containing an oxide containing Co and Zr, and a Ru, Pt, Rh and/or Pd noble metal catalyst loaded on the oxide support, capable of removing carbon monoxide by means of carbon monoxide methanation reaction. The carbon monoxide removing catalyst has higher catalytic activity with respect to carbon monoxide methanation at low temperatures, compared with carbon monoxide removing catalysts which use oxides of Zr—Fe, Zr—Mn, and the like, or zirconia, as the support. A number-of-atom ratio of Co/Zr can be 1/3 or more and 3/1 or less.

  • Patent number: 7345637
Abstract: The invention provides a radio device in which multi-resonance promotion and impedance adjustment can be readily performed and a restriction in a mounting space can be dissolved, and an electronic apparatus having the same installed therein. Provision of a stub (123) having a large area and serving as a frequency matching portion as well in a folded monopole antenna (120) results in that a conductor area can be increased, and a resonance frequency can be shifted to lower frequencies. In addition, a frequency of a radio communication antenna can be readily adjusted because the resonance frequency is adjusted by cutting the stub (123).

  • Publication number: 20070266203
Abstract: A second storage system (SS2) comprises a plurality of tapes, a first storage device capable of performing random access at a rate higher than the tapes, and a virtual storage device emulating the first storage device. A first storage system (SS1) comprises a second storage device and a third storage device that has the virtual storage device mapped therewith. The SS2 reserves a storage space on the first storage device and reads data from the tape corresponding to the virtual storage device into the storage space. The SS1 performs copying between the second storage device and third storage device and, in this process, sends a command for access generated in the third storage device to the virtual storage device. When receiving the Access Command corresponding to the virtual storage device, the SS2 accesses the storage space.

  • Publication number: 20070106843
Abstract: To provide a technique by which, if the number of active disk groups in a storage device is restricted, an appropriate logical volume in the storage device can be used. A management apparatus manages a storage device provided externally. The management apparatus obtains management data indicating which of a plurality of disk groups included in the storage device is active, from the storage device. In addition, the management apparatus executes predetermined processing with reference to the management data in order to utilize a logical volume belonging to a disk group in the storage device while ensuring that the number of active disk groups in the storage device does not exceed an upper limit value.

  • Publication number: 20060277353
Abstract: The present invention aims to protect data by using WORM (Write Once Read Many) features. On receiving an instruction to write data to a virtual tape, from a host computer 2 via an FC interface 11, a VTL controller 10 reads out WORM information and access information each corresponding to the virtual tape for which the instruction was made, from a tape management table 231 and a WORM management table 232, respectively. If the WORM setting is not made for the WORM information that was read out, or if the access information indicates writing data is allowed, then an instruction is given to a disc device 30 to write data to a magnetic disc that corresponds to the virtual tape for which the write instruction was made.

  • Publication number: 20060160697
Abstract: It is an assignment to provide a carbon monoxide removing catalyst whose catalytic activity is higher than conventional carbon-monoxide-methanation-reaction catalyst. It is characterized in that it comprises an oxide support composed of an oxide containing Co and Zr, and a noble metal catalyst selected from the group consisting of Ru, Pt, Rh and Pd, and loaded on the oxide support, and it can remove carbon monoxide by means of carbon monoxide methanation reaction. A carbon monoxide removing catalyst of the present invention is such that such an effect is available that the catalytic activity with respect to carbon monoxide methanation reaction is higher when being low temperatures, compared with carbon monoxide removing catalysts which use oxides of Zr—Fe, Zr—Mn, and the like, or zirconia, as the support. In particular, it is desirable that a number-of-atom ratio of Co/Zr can be 1/3 or more and 3/1 or less.
