  • Publication number: 20010042999
Abstract: Attachment devices are taught that preferably include a main body, a first engagement means provided on the main body, and a second engagement means provided on the main body. The attachment device is attached to a panel lining sheet by engaging the first engagement means with a receiving hole, to thereby produce a panel lining sheet assembly. After the panel lining sheet assembly is overlaid on a vehicle panel, the attachment device is attached to the vehicle panel by engaging the second engagement means with a mounting hole of the vehicle panel. Thus, the attachment device can be secured to the vehicle panel with the panel lining sheet interleaved between the attachment device and the vehicle panel.

  • Patent number: 6259402
Abstract: A GPS receiver being able to realize reduction of power consumption in a tracking process includes: a receiving portion receiving a signal transmitted from a satellite; a correlation value calculation portion connected to the receiving portion generating a pseudo noise signal corresponding to the satellite and calculating a correlation value of a reception signal output from the receiving portion and the pseudo noise signal; a data demodulation device connected to the correlation value calculation portion demodulating data included in the reception signal based on the correlation value every predetermined cycle; a time period determination device connected to the correlation value calculation portion seeking a condition of the reception signal at reception based on the correlation value and determining a correlation value calculation period at the correlation value calculation portion according to the condition at the reception; and a process suspension control device connected to the time period determinatio

  • Patent number: 6179279
Abstract: A gripper which is structurally simple and can reliably and quickly grip small articles of various different shapes. The gripper has a base including a fixed portion and a movable portion movable longitudinally toward and away from the fixed portion, a first gripper portion provided on the fixed portion, a second gripper portion provided on the movable portion, and a moving/fixing mechanism for gripping a small article of an indefinite shape by moving the second gripper portion toward the first gripper portion.

  • Patent number: 6099058
Abstract: A gripping device which can grip small articles of different shapes without the need to work its chucking surfaces or to use blocks and liners in combination, and which can position articles in parallel to or perpendicular to a reference surface with a single gripping device. A fixed yoke, a movable yoke and an anvil-side yoke are connected to two columns so that all the yokes can pivot relative to the columns and the movable yoke can further slide relative to the columns to form a parallel crank mechanism. The fixed yoke is provided with a threaded shaft for moving the movable yoke. V grooves are formed in opposed surfaces of the movable yoke and the anvil-side yoke. A plurality of cuts are formed at the portion where the V-grooves are formed in parallel to the columns. The cuts define plate members having V-grooved gripping portions meshing with each other.

  • Patent number: 4459276
Abstract: Yellow iron oxide crystals having lengths in the range of 100 to 1000 nm and a major axis/motor axis length ratio in the range of 1.5 to 4.5 are produced by adding an aqueous ferric salt solution to an aqueous alkali solution, causing the two solutions to react with each other at a temperature in the range of -5.degree. to 30.degree. C. thereby inducing precipitation of iron hydroxide, allowing the precipitate to age, then subjecting the aged precipitate to a hydrothermal treatment thereby producing crystals and, when necessary, further allowing the crystals to grow.

  • Patent number: 4233283
Abstract: In the manufacture of iron oxide flakes by the steps of mixing an aqueous ferric salt solution with an aqueous alkali solution for thereby inducing an amorphous precipitate and subjecting the precipitate to a hydrothermal treatment, iron oxide flakes of an increased flake size are obtained by adding boric acid or a salt thereof to the mixture prior to the step of hydrothermal treatment.

  • Patent number: 3969494
Abstract: Synthetic yellow iron oxide (.alpha.-FeOOH) is dispersed in an aqueous 0 - 10N alkali solution and the resultant dispersion is subjected to a hydrothermal treatment at 100.degree.- 250.degree.C. This treatment improves the synthetic yellow iron oxide in that it converts imperfect crystals present in said iron oxide into perfect crystals, changes particles thereof from the shape of needles to that of rods, makes the particle size substantially uniform and heightens the resistivity thereof to heat by about 50.degree.C. The modified synthetic yellow iron oxide thus obtained is innoxious and can be used as a pigment in paints.
