  • Publication number: 20040139404
Abstract: A text editing assistor comprises a table storing section storing a candidate table, a candidate displaying section, a character sequence finalization section, an environment information acquisition section, a determination section, and a first updating section. The candidate displaying section displays at least one prospective character sequence in response to a character sequence which is input by the user. The character sequence finalization section allows the user to select one of the at least one prospective character sequence displayed by the candidate displaying section as a final character sequence. The environment information acquisition section acquires environment information. When a final character sequence is selected by means of the character sequence finalization section, the determination section determines whether or not to update the candidate table based on the environment information.

  • Patent number: 6659471
Abstract: A gasket is disclosed, which is adapted for the use in sealing of a tri-face area where a cylinder block, cylinder head and timing-chain housing meet together and come into abutment against one another. With the gasket of this invention, a deposit of bonding agent is applied on an end lug of a solid gasket material to improve the adhesive property and close adherence of the solid gasket material with a fluid gasket material that is filled in the tri-face area. The fluid gasket material charged in the tri-face area is securely fastened to the solid gasket material through the bonding agent. The end lug of the solid gasket material on which the bonding agent is applied is exposed to the tri-face area where both the cylinder head and the cylinder block are cut at their confronting edges to form bevels.

  • Publication number: 20030131046
Abstract: A program distribution system capable of discarding a distributed program according to the properties of the program is provided. In the program distribution system, a program is distributed from a program transmission apparatus 1 to a program reception terminal 3 over a network 2. The program transmission apparatus 1 includes a transmission processing section 11. The program reception terminal 3 includes a reception-side storage section 34 and a discard processing section 32. The transmission processing section 11 transmits a program and discarding procedure information to the program reception terminal 3. The discarding procedure information relates to a procedure of discarding the program performed by the program reception terminal 3. The reception-side storage section 34 stores the program transmitted from the transmission processing section 11.

  • Patent number: 5538193
Abstract: A waste paper processing system includes an upper shredding portion and a lower compressing portion. The shredding portion includes to horizontally parallel shafts mounting thereon a plurality of circular blades. The shafts are rotated to spin outwardly of a space between the shafts from a paper feeding direction. Presser arms are provided for retaining paper from above during shredding and stopper arms and a filter portion are provided below the blades to assure the paper is shredded sufficiently. After shredding the paper falls into a hopper and is introduced via a rotor to the compression portion. In the compression portion a screw is rotated for urging the shredded paper into a compression tube the tube as a narrower portion at the lower end for assuring sufficient compression of the shredded paper. In addition, water is added to the shredded paper in the upper side of the compression tube for binding the shredded paper together as pulp.

  • Patent number: 4985891
Abstract: In an ISDN system comprising a plurality of DSLs each having a plurality of DTEs and an ISDN switch having a TEI list, a multiplexer is used for enabling each DTE to access the ISDN switch through a single primary rate DTL in the time division technique. The multiplexer comprises subscriber interfaces connected to DSLs, respectively. The subscriber interface has first TEIs assigned to DTEs on the corresponding DSL and has a first data link with each DTE on the basic interface D channel using a first LAPD frame signal with the first TEIs. The subscriber interface has a second TEI assigned thereto and registered in the TEI list in the ISDN switch. The subscriber interface derives information field from the first LAPD signal and forms a second LADP frame signal having the second TEI and the derived information.
