  • Patent number: 5875357
Abstract: A lens-fitted photo film unit has an electronic flash device (11, 30; 115) with a printed circuit board (173). The flash device includes a flash-emitting section (6, 170) for emitting flash light toward a photographic field, and a main capacitor (31, 155) for storing charge to be discharged in the flash-emitting section. The printed circuit board converts a current of a battery (12, 127) into a current of high voltage to be supplied to the main capacitor. The printed circuit board has a transistor (13, Tr1) for oscillation. A primary winding (15) has one end connected to the battery, and another end connected to a collector of the transistor. A secondary winding (16) is combined in mutual induction with the primary winding, has one end connected to the main capacitor, and another end connected to a base of the transistor. A tertiary winding (17) is combined in mutual induction with the secondary winding, has one end connected to the battery, and another end connected to the base of the transistor.

  • Patent number: 5757356
Abstract: An input data display device makes it easier to input properly correlated relative corrections for a number of parameters. Relative amounts by which each of a number of parameters is to be adjusted can be displayed on the screen in a manner which shows their ranges and possible correlation. The data are input when the operator touches spots which he selects on the display screen. The pressure of his finger causes data to be generated which represent those input positions. A calculation device calculates output-ready relative correction values for the various parameters based on these input position data. These values are transmitted to the connected device.

  • Patent number: 5752084
Abstract: A lens-fitted photo film unit has an electronic flash device with a flash circuit board. The flash device includes a flash-emitting section for emitting flash light toward a photographic field, and a main capacitor for storing charge to be discharged in the flash-emitting section. The flash-emitting section and main capacitor together constitute a flasher/capacitor unit. In one embodiment, a detachable connector, providing both the electrical connection and the mechanical support, connects the flasher/capacitor unit to the flash circuit board. In another embodiment, a securing portion comprising a pair of rails disposed on the flasher/capacitor unit, secures the flasher/capacitor unit to the flash circuit board, where the rails ride along opposite sides of a projecting portion of the flash circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5336873
Abstract: A photographic film is provided with bar codes indicating frame numbers attached to respective frames of the photographic film and a specific bar code indicating a specific part thereof. The specific bar code is located before or after the specific part of the photographic film. Each frame number bar code is read to determine the decimal frame number of each frame of the photographic film. If the bar code attached to the last frame is not read, it is determined that the bar code not read indicates a frame number for the last frame by reading the specific bar code before or after the fault in reading the bar code of the last frame.

  • Patent number: 5159385
Abstract: A total photo-lab system for automatic printing processing, cutting, sorting and enveloping. Each of a plurality of films spliced into a film roll is provided with a label printed with a respective ID number bar code. The same ID number bar code is provided on a respective envelope. During printing, the ID number of each film set in a printing position is read out so as to record a punch code indicative of the same ID number on a photographic paper besides the first print frame made from that film. The printed film is reserved until the corresponding print frames have been processed. The ID number of the processed photographic paper is read and compared with the ID number of the reserved film. When these ID numbers are identical, the film is cut and inserted into a film sheath sheet, whereas the photographic paper is cut into individual prints, and are sorted into each set of prints belonging to the same film.
