    Abstract: There is provided a method of processing a wafer having devices formed in respective areas on a face side thereof that are demarcated by a plurality of crossing projected dicing lines on the face side. The method of processing a wafer includes a wafer unit forming step of forming a wafer unit having a wafer, a tape, and an annular frame, a dividing step of dividing the wafer along the projected dicing lines into a plurality of device chips, a pick-up step of picking up one at a time of the device chips from the wafer unit, and a measuring step of measuring the device chip picked up in the pick-up step. The method also includes a distinguishing step, before the pick-up step, of inspecting properties of the devices to distinguish acceptable devices and defective devices among the devices and storing distinguished results.

    Abstract: A challenge is to provide an art to identify mice as individuals from captured images of one or more mice that are doing activity in a predetermined activity range. An image processing device includes an image acquisition unit, a part extraction unit, and an individual identification unit. The image acquisition unit acquires a captured video of a state in which one or more animals are doing activity in a predetermined activity range. An outline detection unit extracts the outlines of the bodies of the one or more animals from each of multiple unit images included in the video. The individual identification unit analyzes the multiple outlines detected from each of the multiple unit images by the outline detection unit, in a time-series manner and identifies the one or more animals as individuals in each of the unit images on the basis of the analysis results. Thus, the challenge is solved.

The retention circuits include OS transistors with an extremely low off-state current feature, and can retain imaging data for a long time. In the first to n-th periods, the imaging device obtains the first to n-th imaging data and retains it in the first to n-th retention circuits. Then, the first to n-th imaging data retained in the first to n-th retention circuits are read out. The read imaging data is output outside the imaging data through AD conversion.
