  • Patent number: 6334252
Abstract: A compact vehicle production line is disclosed. The production line comprises a floor process of assembling floor constituent parts. Each is an aluminum alloy extrusion die cast product, which has been made, in an extrusion die casting process, by forcing molten aluminum alloy through a mold cavity in a predetermined direction. The assembled floor constituent parts are welded to make a floor structure. In an interior parts mount process, interior parts are to the floor structure to make a floor unit. In a body main process, each of two body side structures are trimmed to make a body side unit. A roof structure is trimmed to make a roof unit. The floor unit, the body side units, and the roof unit are assembled. The assembly is welded to make a body unit. In a running parts mount process, an under running unit is mounted to the body unit. In an exterior parts attachment process, color body panels are attached to the body unit.

  • Patent number: 6064239
Abstract: A differential input chopper-type voltage comparator for comparing an input voltage signal and a reference voltage signal and outputting a comparison result is provided. The voltage comparator contains an input voltage terminal, a reference voltage terminal, and a comparing circuit. The input voltage terminal inputs the input voltage signal, and the reference voltage terminal inputs the reference voltage signal. The comparing circuit is coupled to the input voltage terminal and the reference voltage terminal, and simultaneously inputs the input voltage signal and the reference voltage signal. Also, the comparing circuit simultaneously processes the input voltage signal and the reference signal, outputs a first predetermined voltage signal as the comparison result if the input voltage signal is greater than the reference voltage signal, and outputs a second predetermined voltage signal as the comparison result if the input voltage signal is less than the reference voltage signal.

  • Patent number: 5834143
Abstract: Proposed is a frame-supported pellicle used for dustproof protection of a photomask in the photolithographic patterning work for the manufacture of electronic fine devices such as LSIs, VLSIs and the like by mounting thereon. The inventive frame-supported pellicle is characterized in that the pellicle frame, to which a pellicle membrane is adhesively bonded on one of the end surfaces, is partly subjected to smoothing treatment. The inventive frame-supported pellicle can solve the heretofore unavoidable problems of dust particle deposition on the photomask even under dustproof protection with a pellicle as well as the high cost of the preparation of the pellicle and the difficulty of finding of any dust particles deposited on the surface of the frame.

  • Patent number: 5379101
Abstract: A compact image forming apparatus which occupies a small floor area even though it has optional units connected to it. The apparatus includes an image forming device, a paper-reversing device attached to a side of the image forming device, a paper-feeding unit, a large-capacity paper-feeding unit, and a large-capacity storage unit. The image forming device and the paper-reversing device are mounted on the paper-feeding unit, which, in turn, is mounted on the large-capacity paper-feeding unit. The large-capacity paper-feeding unit is mounted on the large-capacity storage unit. The total bottom area of the image forming device and the paper-reversing section attached to the side of the image forming device is substantially equal to the top area of the paper-feeding unit, that of the large-capacity paper-feeding unit, and that of said large-capacity storage unit.

  • Patent number: 5371573
Abstract: An image forming system for forming an image on a sheet includes a first receiving section and a second receiving section. A first transporting section transports the sheet-to the first receiving section. A second transporting section transports the sheet to the second receiving section. A selecting section selects either the first receiving section or the second receiving section. A detector detects that the second receiving section is in an abnormal condition while the selecting section selects the second receiving section. The selection of the selecting section is changed from the second receiving section to the first receiving section corresponding to the detection of the detector. The second transporting section is driven until all the sheets in the second transporting section are transported to the second receiving section.

  • Patent number: 5365311
Abstract: An image forming system including a laser printer and optional devices. The laser printer has a control section. The optional devices each have an upper device switch. Status data items are supplied from the optional devices to the control section. The data generated by the upper device switch of the optional device, showing whether or not the optional device is mounted on the device, is also supplied to the control section. Further, data generated by the upper device switch of the device and showing whether or not the optional device is mounted on the device are supplied to the control section. In addition, status data items are supplied from the optional devices to the control section. Based on the various data items received, the control section determines, with high accuracy, whether or not the optional devices are connected to the laser printer.

  • Patent number: 5222549
Abstract: A condenser-evaporator is constituted in such a way that first fluid chambers and second fluid chambers are alternately formed by multiple vertical partitions and a liquid in the first fluid chambers exchange heat with a fluid in the second fluid chambers, characterized in that a plurality of heat exchanger plates are arranged in multiple stages in the first fluid chambers to form a liquid passage having one end open, a plurality of liquid reservoirs communicating with the liquid passage and having a top open are provided in multiple stages on a side of the other end of the liquid passage, and a liquid is introduced in the liquid passage for heat exchange while being supplied to the liquid reservoir in each stage. Accordingly, the depth of the liquid is shallow so as to prevent a boiling point elevation due to the liquid head pressure, thus improving the efficiency of the condenser-evaporator.

  • Patent number: 5164745
Abstract: A laser beam emitted from a laser is detected by a photosensor, and a flip-flop is preset by a detection signal output from the photosensor. A timer is driven in accordance with a preset output from the flip-flop, and a timer output is generated after a lapse of a predetermined period of time. The laser is again driven by the timer output to emit a laser beam. While, another timer is driven in response to a front edge of the preset output of the flip-flop to generate a horizontal synchronizing signal.
