  • Patent number: 8641400
Abstract: There is provided a mold clamping apparatus that can prevent a molding material from spouting from a split surface of a mold even if in-cavity resin pressure causes offset of a mold opening force, and can extend the life of the mold. The mold clamping apparatus includes a control device that estimates a mold opening force by mold internal pressure for molding with mold internal pressure being asymmetrical with respect to a center of a mold block, determines a mold clamping hydraulic value applied to each tie bar correspondingly to the estimated mold opening force, and distributes hydraulic pressure supplied to each tie bar so that the determined mold clamping hydraulic value is reached.

  • Publication number: 20130301956
Abstract: The present invention enables image distribution while maintaining privacy, using a simple configuration. An image distribution apparatus which distributes image data to which location information has been added stores information specifying an inhibited area concerning the location information and determines whether or not a location indicated by the location information added to the image data to be distributed falls within the stored inhibited area. If it is determined that the location indicated by the location information falls within the inhibited area, the image distribution apparatus distributes the image data by deleting the location information from the image data to be distributed. On the other hand, if it is determined that the location indicated by the location information falls outside the inhibited area, the image distribution apparatus distributes the image data with the location information added.

  • Patent number: 8441260
Abstract: A transmit-receive switching circuit is offered which is for use in an NMR spectrometer that employs a solid-state NMR probe using a cooled detection coil. The switching circuit is cryogenically cooled to reduce thermal noise in use. The switching circuit has a first terminal for applying high-power RF pulses sent in from the power amplifier of the NMR spectrometer, a second terminal for sending the RF pulses applied from the first terminal to the NMR detector via crossed-diodes and for receiving and entering a low-power NMR signal detected by the NMR detector, and a third terminal for sending the NMR signal entered from the second terminal toward a preamplifier. Plural stages of shunts are connected to the transmission line connecting the second and third terminals such that one stage of shunt corresponds to a 90° phase shift in the RF radiation.

  • Patent number: 8430613
Abstract: A mandrel has an anti-dropping-off portion that is formed between a head and a breakable portion thereof. In the anti-dropping-off portion, a plurality of latching ridges is formed which have peaks that protrude outwardly in the radial direction and frictionally engage with the inner wall surface of a sleeve. The latching ridges are formed in the outer surface of the portion of the mandrel that is between the head and breakable portion thereof, so as to be diagonal relative to the circumferential direction of the outer surface of the mandrel and to cross each other, with the peaks thereof formed in a twill pattern protruding out from the outer surface of that mandrel portion.

  • Patent number: 8285998
Abstract: Regularity information such as time codes embedded preliminarily through an electronic watermark is detected from a predetermined number of pieces of continuous frame data of video content through the electronic watermark. In the case where the electronic watermark is not detected from the predetermined number of pieces of continuous frame data, a non-detection count is calculated, and falsification of the predetermined number of pieces of frame data is determined on the basis of the detected regularity information and the non-detection count. Accordingly, falsification such as deletion, addition, and replacement of video content is detected with high accuracy using the electronic watermark.

  • Patent number: 8280975
Abstract: When there are very many images stored in a memory card, a time after a computer and a digital camera have been logically connected with each other until the computer and the camera answers a user becomes extremely long. When the digital camera caches the information of a file stored in a storage medium by accessing the storage medium in a reproduction mode, and when the digital camera and the computer are physically connected to each other and they are in a communication mode, information which the computer appears to request finally is generated and stored. After that, when the digital camera receives a data transfer request from the computer, the digital camera transmits stored information to the computer in a lump.

  • Patent number: 8102439
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus captures a subject to obtain image data, is connected to an information processing apparatus, and receives and stores therein information about the information processing apparatus when being connected to the information processing apparatus. The image pickup apparatus generates an identifier on the basis of the information received from the information processing apparatus and count-up information. Then, the image pickup apparatus stores the identifier therein so that the identifier is associated with the image data stored in a storage medium.

  • Patent number: 8013608
Abstract: A high-resolution NMR probe is offered which is simple in structure and can be fabricated at low cost. The inside of the probe is maintained in a vacuum to adiabatically isolate the inside from the outside. Liquid helium is sent into a first heat exchanger located immediately close to a measurement portion via the innermost region of a triple tube placed in the vacuum. The helium is evaporated in the exchanger to cool a transmit-receive coil and a variable capacitor. The evaporated helium gas is returned via the outermost region of the triple tube. At this time, a radiation shield placed in the vacuum is cooled by a second heat exchanger placed in the return path.
