  • Publication number: 20120128518
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a back pressure chamber oil-feeding path for feeding lubricating oil from a high-pressure region to a back pressure chamber, and a compression chamber oil-feeding path for feeding lubricating oil from the back pressure chamber to a compression chamber. One phase in which the back pressure chamber oil-feeding path is communicated from the high-pressure region to the back pressure chamber and another phase in which the compression chamber oil-feeding path is communicated from the back pressure chamber to the compression chamber are shifted from each other, so that the back pressure chamber oil-feeding path and the compression chamber oil-feeding path are never put into the communicating state simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20120070039
Abstract: A surface analyzer with which users only need to perform simple operations to quantitatively compare different physical quantities, such as the altitude and phase, in a region of interest on a sample is provided. A three-dimensional color image created by mapping color information corresponding to the phase onto a three-dimensional image created from two-dimensional distribution data of a sample's altitude is displayed in an analysis result display screen. A section image is superposed on the three-dimensional color image. The one-dimensional area at which the section image intersects the sample is defined as the region of interest. The altitude and phase along this region of interest are graphically shown on the graph display area. Various characteristic values at the position of these cursors, such as the altitude and phase values or the difference in these values between two cursors, are displayed in a characteristic value table.

  • Publication number: 20120062592
Abstract: A technique for allowing users to efficiently specify a region of interest (ROD on a sample for a certain physical quantity (e.g. phase) other than the altitude is provided. A range-indicating image 34 showing a range that can be observed on a sample is displayed on a navigation window 33 in a sample observation display screen 30. An ROI-indicating frame 35 for specifying a magnified observation range is superposed on the range-indicating image 34. A list of thumbnails of previously taken magnified images for the same sample is displayed on an image history display window 32. When an observer selects any image from this list, the thumbnail of the selected image is mapped onto the range-indicating image 34. With reference to this image, the observer can change the position, size and/or angle of the ROI-indicating frame 35 by a mouse operation. In response to this operation, a magnified image of the sample within the new ROI is acquired.

  • Publication number: 20110318665
Abstract: A polymer electrolyte fuel cell-use gasket, included in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell including a fuel cell stack. In fuel cell stack, a plurality of unit cell modules is stacked, and each of the unit cell modules includes sealing members disposed at circumference portions of both surfaces of a membrane electrode assembly, and paired separators sandwiching the membrane electrode assembly and the sealing members. The fuel cell stack is assembled by being clamped by a fastening member via paired end plates respectively disposed at both ends of a stacked product. The present invention relates to the polymer electrolyte fuel cell-use gasket in which the sealing members are integrally molded with the circumference portions of both surfaces of the membrane electrode assembly. A conventional gasket has an issue that the gasket cannot achieve, at the same time, the conflicting demands, i.e., a reduction in the fastening force and a sure securing of the sealing performance.

  • Publication number: 20110157490
Abstract: A diode (130) whose anode is connected to a conductive plate (140) formed so as to cover a TFT (120) of a pixel formation portion (110) and whose cathode is connected to a video signal line is provided. With the configuration, when potential of a video signal applied to the video signal line is lower than that of the conductive plate (140), a current is passed to the diode (130), and the potential of the conductive plate (140) becomes equal to that of the video signal line. On the other hand, when the potential of the video signal is higher than that of the conductive plate (140), no current flows, so that the potential of the diode (130) is held as it is. As a result, the potential of the conductive plate (140) is clamped to the lowest potential among potentials of video signals. Consequently, a leak current which flows from the pixel electrode Ep of the pixel formation portion (110) to the video signal line when the TFT (120) is in the off state is suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20110143252
Abstract: In an MEA member constituted by a polymer electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) and a frame and in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell including this MEA member, the MEA and the frame can be easily separated from each other without using any special tool. An MEA member 7 includes an MEA 5 and a plate-shaped resin frame 6, and a separating portion for separating the MEA 5 from the frame 6 is formed in the MEA member 7. The MEA 5 includes a polymer electrolyte membrane 2 and a pair of electrodes 3 and 4 respectively disposed on both main surfaces of the polymer electrolyte membrane 2. The frame 6 sandwiches and holds a peripheral portion of main surfaces of the MEA 5 such that the MEA 5 is located inside the frame. The separating portion is a broken-line cutoff line 50 formed on the frame 6 to divide the frame 6 into two or more parts or a partial sandwiching portion 55 located at an inner peripheral portion of the frame 6 to partially sandwich the peripheral portion of the MEA 5.
