  • Patent number: 6606320
Abstract: In a data transmission system, a data transmission method, a data transmitting apparatus and a data transmitting method according to this invention, in carrying out transmission of data at a predetermined transmit period from the server unit to the terminal equipment, an interrupt signal is generated at a scheduling period longer than a predetermined transmit period to carry out transmitting control of data every predetermined transmit period on the basis of quantity of transmittable data within one scheduling period unit. Thus, overhead of isochronous packet is reduced, thus making it possible to improve transmission efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6601127
Abstract: It is intended to enable control, without using personal computers, of a connection via an ATM network between devices that are connected to IEEE 1394 serial buses. When ATM addresses are assigned to IEEE 1394 serial buses that are connected to ATM/1394 bridges, TSCs (terminal system controllers) of the respective ATM/1394 bridges communicate the ATM addresses to a DCS (device control server) and the ATM addresses are stored in a database that is connected to the DCS. The DCS controls a connection between the devices that are connected to the IEEE 1394 serial buses.

  • Patent number: 6512255
Abstract: A sensor device has a semiconductor sensor chip mounted on a resin package with which insert pins are insert-molded. The sensor chip and the pins are electrically connected to each other by bonding wires. An electrically insulating protective member covers the chip, the pins, and the wires. The protective member has a saturated swelling coefficient of approximately 7 wt % at most when the protective member is immersed into gasoline having a temperature of 20° C. • Patent number: 6456631
Abstract: A communication control system lessens the burden (load) of repeaters and has a reduced number of development steps. Data of the ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) signaling protocol standard that is delivered to an ATM/1394 repeater 3 (FIG. 4, for example) through an ATM network 2 from an ATM terminal 1 is converted to data of the IEEE 1394 transmission standard by an ASEL (ATM over IEEE 1394 Serial bus Emulation Layer) 31 (see FIG. 54, for example). The data of the IEEE 1394 standard transmitted to a 1394 terminal 4 is converted into data of the ATM standard by an ASEL 32. Advantageously, using the inventive ASEL avoids the need for an original (special-purpose) signaling protocol (FIG. 3) that would otherwise be required between the repeater and the terminal(s) 4.

  • Publication number: 20020009049
Abstract: Data is transferred between a plurality of networks which are not synchronized in clock with each other, without creating either an overflow or an underflow. Data output from a first DVCR is transferred to a second DVCR via a first IEEE-1394 serial bus, a first ATM/IEEE-1394 data transfer apparatus, a first UNI, a first ATM network, an NNI 101, a second ATM network, a second UNI, a second ATM/IEEE-1394 data transfer apparatus, and a second IEEE-1394 serial bus. The second ATM/IEEE-1394 data transfer apparatus stores data in a buffer for each flow and deletes or inserts an empty packet depending upon the amount of data stored in the buffer so as to prevent an overflow and an underflow. A deviation of a time stamp caused by the insertion or the deletion of the empty packet is gradually corrected.
