  • Patent number: 5596464
Abstract: A tape cassette which is convenient for minimization is provided. A cassette case is formed from an upper half and a lower half. A back lid includes a front lid, a back lid and a top lid, and covers over a portion of a magnetic tape positioned outside the cassette case. A lid locking member is mounted on the cassette case for engaging with an arresting recessed portion of the front lid to lock the lid member at a closed position. A torsion spring for biasing the lid member toward the closed position is resiliently contacted at an arm thereof with a spring anchoring portion of the lid locking member to exert a pivoting force to pivot the lid locking member to its locking position. A stopper portion is provided on the lower half such that an abutting portion of the lid locking member may be abutted therewith to prevent excessive pivotal motion of the lid locking member toward the locking position.

  • Patent number: 5563844
Abstract: In order to improve area efficiency of a mask ROM, a head address is inputted from a common pad (204) only in an initial access, so that addresses are thereafter changed by an internal counter (212). Data output is carried out through the common pad (204). Wires are employed for address input and data output in common, thereby remarkably reducing the number of wires.

  • Patent number: 5526306
Abstract: In order to improve the degree of storage data integration, side walls (32) are selectively formed on side surfaces of word lines (22) to serve as masks for changing ON-state current values of memory cells by changing widths or lengths of active regions (24) of the memory cells, thereby forming several of types of memory cells having different electrical properties. Storage data per memory cell is therefore so multivalued that the number of memory cells is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4835576
Abstract: In the negative form of lith type film or photographic printing paper, the ground part is light-untransmissible and image part (letter, pattern) is light-transmissible. Apart from them, pinholes and stains also constitute light-transmissible areas. Although the light-transmissible areas of letter and pattern are necessary, the light-transmissible areas of pinhole and stain are unnecessary. Thus, the unnecessary light-transmissible areas must be distinguished from the necessary light-transmissible areas, and an opaque layer must be provided on the unnecessary areas to make them opaque. Generally, however, the unnecessary light-transmissible areas are minute and many in number, so that their detection and opaquing is a very laborious work. Thus, according to the opaquing method of the present invention, only the necessary light-transmissible area is detected and the other light-transmissible areas are regarded as unnecessary and the latter are stopped out.
