    Abstract: In one embodiment, when a hot roller is driven to rotate, a driving gear rotates so that a swing gear and a swing cam rotate. Then, a sliding contact edge on the right side of a swing lever that abuts against the circumferential face of the swing cam repeatedly moves up and down, and the swing lever repeatedly rotates clockwise and counterclockwise with a shaft of a pressure release cam as the center. At this time, since only the clockwise rotation of the swing lever is transmitted via a one-way clutch to the shaft of the pressure release cam, the clockwise rotation is intermittently transmitted to the shaft of the pressure release cam. As a result of this, the pressure release cam intermittently rotates clockwise, and the pressure release cam pushes away a roller of a displacement frame, so that the pressure roller separates from the hot roller.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a fixing apparatus is configured of a pressing portion for causing the pressure roller to enter a pressure applied state by applying bias, a switching portion for causing the pressing portion in the pressure applied state to enter a pressure released state by causing a cam to rotate forward, a pressure state detection portion for detecting the pressure released state, and a control portion for, when shifting from the pressure applied state to the pressure released state, turning forward the cam of the switching portion in the pressure applied state and stopping the cam after the pressure state detection portion detects the pressure released state. If the cam is turned forward with respect to the switching portion for a certain time period, but the pressure state detection portion does not detect the pressure released state, the control portion performs forward rotational direction retry control.

The compressor includes an oil separator that is located at a refrigerant discharge side of the compressor to separate a lubrication oil from the refrigerant and to return the separated lubrication oil to an interior of the compressor, a shutting portion configured to shut a reverse flow of the refrigerant at a refrigerant suction side of the compressor, and a driving portion located to drive the shutting portion. Furthermore, the driving portion causes the shutting portion to shut the reverse flow of the refrigerant when the refrigerant cycle is damaged.

    Abstract: A silencer for a refrigeration cycle system is disclosed. The silencer includes a silencing chamber 15a formed in a housing 16, an inlet pipe 20 connected to the housing 16 to allow the refrigerant to flow into the silencing chamber 15a, and an outlet pipe 21 connected to the housing 16 to allow the refrigerant to flow out of the silencing chamber 15a. The direction in which the inlet pipe 20 is connected to the housing 16 and the direction in which the outlet pipe 21 is connected to the housing 16 cross each other. A bend 21c projected into the silencing chamber 15a and curved toward the upstream end 20b of the inlet pipe 20 is formed at the upstream end 21b portion of the outlet pipe 21. The bend 21c is formed with an opening 21d to open the inside part thereof. As a result, the refrigerant that has flowed into the silencing chamber 15a can be guided smoothly to the outlet pipe 21 while at the same time avoiding a case in which the bend 21c suppresses the interference of the pressure wave.
