  • Patent number: 12259030
Abstract: A first rotating element is a first sun gear that rotates with a rotor. A third rotating element is a first ring gear connected to a case. A fourth rotating element is a second ring gear that rotates with an input element. A second rotating element is a first carrier rotatably supporting a first pinion gear and a second pinion gear that rotate together. The first pinion gear meshes with the first sun gear and the first ring gear. The second pinion gear has a smaller diameter than the first pinion gear and meshes with the second ring gear. The first sun gear is supported in a radial direction with respect to the case via a first support bearing. The second ring gear and the input element are connected such that their relative movement in the radial direction is restricted.

  • Publication number: 20250022275
Abstract: Provided is a monitoring area setting system that can reduce an amount of calculation required for monitoring. A monitoring area setting system includes a point cloud data acquisition unit and a controller. The point cloud data acquisition unit has a preset detection range, and acquires point cloud data that is data indicating a distance from a predetermined reference point to a target object within the detection range. The controller acquires information on a reference monitoring area that is an area set to include a work machine located within the detection range, identifies an operation range of the work machine as an excluded area based on the point cloud data, and sets an actual monitoring area for the work machine by excluding the excluded area from the reference monitoring area.

  • Publication number: 20240401304
Abstract: A work machine capable of continuing work by automatic operation over a large area includes a controller that makes an upper turning body and a work device perform a series of motions including processing motion a plurality of times. The controller performs: shifting the start position of the processing motion in the next series of motions in the turning direction of the upper turning body when a processing work performed by a series of motions reaches a predetermined stage; making a lower traveling body perform an area change movement when the processing work reaches a predetermined stage while the start position has reached a change limit plane; and setting an after-movement start position so as to make the processing work after the area change movement continued with the processing work before the area change movement.

  • Publication number: 20240183122
Abstract: A controller (30) of an excavation system controls a bucket (15c) to excavate an excavation object (O) along an excavation row (C). In a case where the bucket (15c) is located forward (X1) of a border (53) at completion of one excavation performed by the bucket (15c), the controller (30) causes the bucket (15c) to perform next excavation without changing the excavation row (C). In a case where the bucket (15c) is located on the border (53) or rearward (X2) of the border (53) at the completion of one excavation performed by the bucket (15c), the controller (30) changes the excavation rows (C) and causes the bucket (15c) to perform the next excavation.

  • Publication number: 20240026643
Abstract: A distance detection unit detects a first distance from a specific reference position associated with a work machine to a portion of a platform of a carrier on a carrier rear side, and a second distance from the reference position to a portion of the platform on a carrier front side. A controller causes a stop instruction output unit to output a stop instruction at least either when the first distance falls from a value greater than a first threshold value to a value equal to or smaller than the first threshold value or when the second distance falls from a value greater than a second threshold value to a value equal to or smaller than the second threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20230407594
Abstract: A contact of an attachment with an obstacle is suppressed, and concurrently, a wasteful motion of the attachment is suppressed. When determining that an obstacle specific portion exists between a start point and an end point, a controller sets an avoidance path as a target path. The avoidance path is a path along which an attachment specific portion moves from the start point to the end point while the attachment is led to an avoidance operation of avoiding the obstacle. When determining that the obstacle specific portion does not exist between the start point and the end point, the controller sets a non-avoidance path as the target path. The non-avoidance path is a path along which the attachment specific portion moves from the start point to the end point while the attachment is not led to the avoidance operation.

  • Publication number: 20230167625
Abstract: A lever drive control unit 27a of a hydraulic work machine 10 performs actuation control on a lever drive actuator 21 so as to operate an operation lever 20 to a neutral position and operation positions for a maximum operation amount and stores control values for the lever drive actuator 21 at the respective operation positions, upon receipt of a request for execution of a process in a calibration mode. The lever drive control unit 27a uses the stored control values to create data prescribing a relation between a drive command for the operation lever 20 and a control value for the lever drive actuator 21.

  • Patent number: 11613872
Abstract: In a state where a slewing stop operation is input, in a first state where a slewing command value is equal to or greater than an actual slewing speed, a drive unit stops outputting a torque command value, and a free-run state occurs. In the first state, a command value calculation unit decreases the slewing command value at a first inclination. Meanwhile, in the state where the slewing stop operation is input, in a second state where the slewing command value is less than the actual slewing speed, the command value calculation unit decreases the slewing command value at a second inclination that is gentler than the first inclination.

  • Publication number: 20220112693
Abstract: A monitoring system calculates, based on a contour data, a first slope angle representing an inclination angle of a slope to a ground surface on which a construction machine stands, detects a ground surface angle representing an inclination angle of the ground surface to a horizontal plane, calculates a second slope angle representing an inclination angle of the slope to the horizontal plane by adding the first slope angle to the ground surface angle, calculates a relative angle of a longitudinal direction of a lower traveling body to an inclination direction of the slope, and determines that the construction machine is in an unstable state when the second slope angle is larger than a first threshold and the relative angle is larger than a second threshold.
