  • Publication number: 20030154731
Abstract: A control device includes a first passage, a second passage, a third passage, a displacement control valve and an auxiliary valve. The displacement control valve is placed in the first passage. The auxiliary valve includes a valve chamber, a spool valve and an urging means. The spool valve is slidably accommodated in the valve chamber. The spool valve divides the valve chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, to communicate the first pressure chamber with the first passage and to communicate the second pressure chamber with the second passage. The urging means is placed in the valve chamber for urging the spool valve toward the first pressure chamber. The third passage communicates with the first pressure chamber and/or the second pressure chamber by the movement of the spool valve.

  • Patent number: 6592337
Abstract: A shaft seal seals a rotary shaft surface to prevent fluid from moving between a high-pressure area and a low-pressure area. The shaft seal has a lip type ring fitted on the side of the high-pressure area of the rotary shaft. The lip type ring further includes a lip ring, a plurality of first portions and a plurality of second portions. The lip ring is located around the rotary shaft. The lip ring has a ring surface. The first portions are formed on the ring surface to slidably contact the rotary shaft surface. The first portions guide the fluid towards a space between the ring surface and the rotary shaft surface as the rotary shaft is rotated. The second portions are formed on the ring surface. The second portions prevent the fluid in the space from leaking into the low-pressure area.

  • Patent number: 6590177
Abstract: A pressure sensitive sensor is composed of a pair of upper and lower electrodes sheets 1 and 2 disposed oppositely, a spacer 3 interposed between both of the sheets 1 and 2, and adhesives 4 and 5 between these electrode sheets 1 and 2 and spacer 3. In the spacer 3, a hole 31 is formed in a position of a contact portion 6. A diameter of this hole 31, convex portions 13 and a pressure sensitive electrode 22 are set in such a positional relationship that a peripheral portion of the hole 31 is overlapped between the convex portions 13 and the pressure sensitive electrode 22. Then, the adhesives 4 and 5 open more largely than the diameter of the hole 31 of the spacer 3 so as to be removed from the peripheral portion of the hole 31 on both surfaces of the spacer 3.

  • Publication number: 20030077428
Abstract: A thermal transfer sheet is provided that can yield thermally transferred images, which possess excellent various fastness or resistance properties even under severe service conditions, and comprises a transferable protective layer having good transferability. In a thermal transfer sheet comprising a substrate sheet and a thermally transferable protective layer on the substrate sheet, the thermally transferable protective layer comprises a scratch-resistant layer which is repeatedly provided one by one for each picture plane unit in the thermal transfer sheet. An area of the scratch-resistant layer for each picture plane unit is smaller than an area of an object in its transfer surface. By virtue of this construction, at the time of the transfer of a protective layer onto an object, layer cutting does not occur within the scratch-resistant layer but within other layer (such as peel layer or adhesive layer), and, consequently, the protective layer can be transferred with good transferability.

  • Patent number: 6517083
Abstract: First pumping threads are formed on an inner circumferential surface of the seal lip portion of an elastomer lip member. The first pumping threads generate a pumping action in a leakage direction when a shaft rotates. A first resin lip member is arranged at a rear side of the elastomer lip member. Second pumping threads generate a pumping action in a direction opposite to the leakage direction when the shaft rotates. The second pumping threads are formed from an inner circumferential surface of a seal lip portion of the first resin lip member to a rear portion of a bent portion thereof. A second resin lip member is arranged at a rear side of the first resin lip member and has a surface sliding on the shaft, which is formed smoothly.
