  • Publication number: 20190259343
Abstract: An image display device allowing a user to view an image with a dynamic range wider than before can be realized regardless of performance limitations of a light emitting element or a power supply. The image display device includes a glare correction unit for correcting a pixel value of a pixel around a high luminance pixel so that a gradation area, in which a luminance value gradually decreases from the high luminance pixel to a low luminance pixel, is provided. The glare correction unit includes a high luminance pixel searching unit for detecting a high luminance pixel among pixels within a predetermined range centered on a target pixel and for outputting mixing ratio data and pixel data of the high luminance pixel, and a pixel value mixing unit for correcting pixel data of the target pixel by mixing pixel data of the target pixel and the pixel data of the high luminance pixel based on the mixing ratio data.

  • Publication number: 20190210080
Abstract: Provided is a cooling device, where a hot-finish-rolling mill includes a plurality of nozzles which spray cooling water toward one of or both of upper and lower surfaces of a hot-rolled steel sheet just after rolled by rolling stands, the nozzles are provided on the inside of the upper and lower guides or adjoining to the guides on a downstream side, and a nozzle spray distance changes depending on a position of the nozzle in a rolling direction, wherein a spray angle of the nozzle at a position whose nozzle spray distance is the largest is smaller than a spray angle of the nozzle at a position whose nozzle spray distance is the smallest, and the spray angle of the nozzle becomes the same or smaller as the nozzle spray distance becomes large.

  • Patent number: 10264192
Abstract: A video processing device detects, as a characteristic region, a region having a prescribed characteristic in each frame of a video and performs specific image processing on either the characteristic region in the frame or a region other than the characteristic region in the frame with a specified processing strength. The processing strength is specified so as to be altered stepwise in at least two steps that involve an intermediate value between a minimum value and a maximum value when there is a change in whether or not a characteristic region has been detected.

  • Publication number: 20180288287
Abstract: A multiple-frame detecting unit performs a prescribed detection process by taking the time corresponding to a plurality of unit images of the video signal. A video change detecting unit detects a change in video between the unit images of the video signal. If no change in the video is detected by the video change detecting unit, a correction unit performs a correction process with a first correction intensity on the video signal corresponding to a detection target image area in the unit images of the detection process being performed by the multiple-frame detecting unit, and a correction process with a second correction intensity on the video signal corresponding to an image area other than the detection target image area. When the video change detecting unit detects the change in the video, the correction unit performs the correction process with the second correction intensity on the video signal.

  • Patent number: 9749005
Abstract: Stable clock synchronization is ensured even under a multi fading environment such as the non-line-of-sight communication. On a transmission side, multiplying a clock signal by a spreading code, a spread-spectrum clock signal is generated whose spectrum being made to spread; frequency conversion is performed on a signal obtained by superimposing an information signal on the spread-spectrum clock signal and a radio signal is transmitted by wireless. On the other hand, on a receiving side, the radio signal is received, frequency conversion is performed on the radio signal, and a frequency-converted radio signal is divided into two lines. A clock signal extracted by performing spectrum despreading on one of divided radio signals by multiplying a spreading code; and clock synchronization is performed on other one of the divided radio signals using the clock signal having been extracted.

  • Patent number: 9711093
Abstract: The light emitting device is divided into a plurality of areas, and has, as main configuration elements, an area drive circuit (2), which generates LED data and LCD data, an LED controller (4), and a backlight unit (5), which is provided with a plurality of LEDs (52) corresponding to each of the areas. The power calculating unit of the LED controller (4) is mainly configured of a power calculating circuit (42), a power limiter circuit (43), and a limit value updating circuit (45), and the emission power to be supplied to each of the LEDs (52) is calculated for each are on the basis of image data. The power calculating unit performs the calculation such that the sum (Psum) of the emission power does not exceed a power limit value (Plimit) currently set, and updates the power limit value (Plimit) by following a previously set pattern.
