    Abstract: The present embodiment relates to an ultrasound probe having a first ultrasound vibrator group and a second ultrasound vibrator group, comprising a plurality of matrix switches and an adder. The ultrasound probe has a mode to send ultrasound to a predetermined observation point within a subject by the first ultrasound vibrator group, and to receive ultrasound echoes reflected within the subject by the second ultrasound vibrator group. The plurality of matrix switches extract, based on the distance between the second ultrasound vibrator group and the observation point, a plurality of ultrasound echoes having substantially the same phase from a plurality of ultrasound echoes output by the second ultrasound vibrator group. The adder adds the plurality of ultrasound echoes extracted by the plurality of matrix switches for each of the matrix switches and outputs them.

The switching unit switches a connection path between the primary winding and at least one of the first and second power sources to a first connection path that connects the first power source to one end of the primary winding and the second power source to the other end, a second connection path that connects the first power source to the other end and the second power source to the one end, or a ground connection path that connects the first power source or the second power source to the ground through the primary winding.

    Abstract: After an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is temporally placed on the receptacle of a docking cart to relieve a weight load, the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed at a predetermined position by sliding the apparatus while guiding it along the shapes of the edges of the receptacle. After the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is slid on the receptacle and rear foot portions come into contact with the stoppers of the receptacle, the front side of the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed on the receptacle. With this operation, front foot portions are fitted in fitting portions, and the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed at an accurate position on the receptacle. In addition, when an operator places the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus on the receptacle or lifts the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus from the receptacle, the fingers which grasp the apparatus are placed in the recessed portions of the receptacle.

    Abstract: Saturation of received signals and generation of artifacts that are associated with tap concentration are prevented from occurring even if the differences in the delay amount between each of transducers are small. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus comprises a plurality of ultrasound transducers, a plurality of taps, a delay amount calculator, a channel distributor, and a delay processor. The delay amount calculator calculates a first delay amount. The channel distributor specifies the minimum delay amount and the maximum delay amount from the first delay amount. Further, the channel distributor divides the range from the minimum delay amount to the maximum delay amount by the number of taps, and relates each to a tap. The channel distributor also inputs a signal output from an ultrasound transducer to the tap related to the divided range including the corresponding first delay amount.

The sewing machine including a single needle and a rotary looper and including a yarn feed adjusting device for adjusting a degree of feed of a yarn to the single needle. The yarn feed adjusting device sets a fed volume of the yarn during formation of the second loop to a value larger than that of the final or third loop and the first loop.
