  • Publication number: 20100056913
Abstract: After an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is temporally placed on the receptacle of a docking cart to relieve a weight load, the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed at a predetermined position by sliding the apparatus while guiding it along the shapes of the edges of the receptacle. After the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is slid on the receptacle and rear foot portions come into contact with the stoppers of the receptacle, the front side of the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed on the receptacle. With this operation, front foot portions are fitted in fitting portions, and the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is placed at an accurate position on the receptacle. In addition, when an operator places the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus on the receptacle or lifts the portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus from the receptacle, the fingers which grasp the apparatus are placed in the recessed portions of the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20070163477
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a needle, a needle bar which supports the needle, an upper feeding foot operable to feed the workpiece interlockingly with an up and down movement of the needle bar, a presser foot operable to press the workpiece, a holding bar which supports the presser foot, an actuator including an operating member operable to be changed to a first state, a second state or a no-load state, and a connecting portion which couples the operating member and the holding bar. The holding bar is constantly biased downward by a biasing force. The actuator moves the presser foot up against the first biasing force when the operating member is in the first state, and moves the presser foot down when the operating member is in the second state.

  • Patent number: 5799599
Abstract: A apparatus for forming a knot where a knot is formed in chain-stitching. In the method, a first loop is formed by a stitch to an article to be sewn, two stitches ahead of a final stitch, is drawn through a second loop which is formed by a stitch one stitch ahead of the final stitch, whereby a knot where the first loop is fastened by the second loop is formed, such that a third loop is inserted through the second loop and is then cut. The sewing machine including a single needle and a rotary looper and including a yarn feed adjusting device for adjusting a degree of feed of a yarn to the single needle. The yarn feed adjusting device sets a fed volume of the yarn during formation of the second loop to a value larger than that of the final or third loop and the first loop.

  • Patent number: 5524562
Abstract: A movable table apparatus includes a table in the form of a quadrilateral with four sides with two pairs perpendicular to each other, a pair of first fixed guide rails corresponding to the first pair of sides, and a pair of second movable guide rails corresponding to the second pair of sides. The table is adapted for movement in X and Y directions and is fabricated at a low overall height so that the apparatus may be lightweight and compact, thus requiring fewer parts and affording ready assembly. A work clamp support arm with a work clamp is rigidly mounted on a pair of the second and movable guide rails.
