  • Publication number: 20070276054
Abstract: A composition for foam filling contains an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer having a melt flow rate measured at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg in a range from 2 to 8 g/10 min and/or an ethylene-butyl acrylate copolymer having a melt flow rate measured at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg in a range from 1 to 6 g/10 min, a foaming agent and an organic peroxide.

  • Publication number: 20070057396
Abstract: There are provided a foaming filler member which allows, even when the inner space of a hollow member has a protruding space, easy filling of the protruding space without using an extra member, a heat-foamable sheet used for the foaming filler member, a method for manufacturing the heat-foamable sheet, and a method for filling the inner space of the hollow member. A heat-foamable sheet which extends in one direction when heated at 100 to 130° C. for 20 minutes and has an extension ratio of 5 to 50% in the extension direction is manufactured by stretch-forming a heat-foamable material. Even when the inner space has the protruding space, the protruding space can be easily filled at low cost without using an extra member by using the heat-foamable sheet as the foaming filler member, disposing the foaming filler member in the main space of the inner space, and foaming it such that the extending direction of the heat-foamable sheet is oriented toward the protruding space.

  • Publication number: 20060252860
Abstract: Filling foam composition capable of providing excellent rustproof and also suppressing reduction of a foam ratio of the filling foam composition even when reusing unwanted parts thereof and inferior goods thereof; a foam filling member using the same filling foam composition; and a filling foam produced by foaming the filling foam composition. The filling foam composition is prepared by mixing foamable polymer, a foaming agent, and a basic oxide in such a mixing ratio that a ratio of the basic oxide can be in the range of 0.05-70 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of foaming agent. The mounting member for the filling foam composition to be mounted in an internal space of a hollow member is produced by mounting a mounting member on the filling foam composition obtained. The filling foam is formed by fitting the foam filling member in the internal space of the hollow member and, then, foaming the filling foam composition by the application of heat.

  • Publication number: 20060140688
Abstract: A foam filling member that can hold a foam sheet in a looped shape stably, without increasing the number of components, to provide improved vibration suppression and sound insulation. The strip-like foam sheet is formed in a looped shape by bending round it, so that both end portions of the foam sheet are overlapped with each other in a thickness direction thereof to form an overlapped portion therein. Then, insertion shafts of a clip are inserted through the overlapped portion, so that the overlapped portion is held in sandwich relation between a base portion and a head portion to form a foam filling member. Then, a supporting portion of the fixing portion of the clip is inserted in a fixing hole of an inner panel and fixed to the inner panel.

  • Publication number: 20050249936
Abstract: A foam filling member which is simplified in structure so that it can be produced with improved working efficiency and at low cost and can also reduce a quantity of foaming material of the foaming base material used for filling an interior space of a structure to leave no space therein. In the foam filling member 1 having an annular wall 5 formed on a supporting plate 4 and an annular foaming portion 16 of the foaming base material 3 supported on an outer supporting portion 9 located at the outside of the annular wall 5 on the supporting plate 4, a plurality of openings 10 are formed in the annular wall 5 and also lugs 18 projecting to an inner closed portion 8 at the inside of the annular wall 5 through the respective openings 10 are formed in the foaming base material 3. In the foam filling member 1 thus constructed, the holder 2 can be formed in a simple manner and thus can be produced at a low cost.

  • Publication number: 20050249916
Abstract: A foam filling member having a foaming base material in sheet form which is simplified in structure so that it can be formed into a predetermined shape corresponding to a shape of a space of a structure with an improved working efficiency and can also be placed in a space of the structure with an improved working efficiency, without any need of the sticking to a wall surface of a partition wall defining the space of the structure. Incisions 4, 5, 6, 7, cut in partway along a thickness direction of the foaming base material 2 along a bending portion and cuts 9, 10 passing through in the thickness direction are formed in the foaming base material 2. By simply bending or folding the foaming base material 2 along the incisions 4, 5, 6, 7 and the cuts 9, 10, the foam filling member 1 can be formed in a three-dimensional shape corresponding to an interior space of a pillar and thus can be set in place in the interior space.
