  • Publication number: 20180147942
Abstract: A sensor of a status determination device detects a magnitude of a terminal voltage of an auxiliary battery provided separately from a driving battery and a magnitude of a current flowing through the auxiliary battery. The driving battery is an electrical power source for a driving motor of a vehicle, and the auxiliary battery is an electrical power source for auxiliary equipment and has an output voltage lower than that of the driving battery. An internal resistance calculator calculates an internal resistance of the auxiliary battery based on the magnitude of the terminal voltage and the magnitude of the current detected by the sensor in a stable period that is before the auxiliary equipment is started and in which the magnitude of the terminal voltage and the magnitude of the current fall within predetermined fluctuation ranges, and those detected in a period after starting of the auxiliary equipment is detected.

  • Patent number: 9833822
Abstract: Provided are a cooling method and a cooling apparatus that, in the cooling of a hot-rolled steel strip, regulates the amount of cooling water in a two-stage manner for each set of headers in the width direction and changes the rate at which the steel strip is cooled, in a multistage manner by a simple method, and that is effective particularly in cooling the lower surface of the steel strip, where space is narrow. The spray nozzles 5 are arranged in a row in the width direction of the steel strip at a predetermined pitch. Two systems of cooling headers 6 are arranged for one set so that spray nozzles 5 adjacent in the width direction can be supplied with cooling water from different pipe systems, and a spray valve 7 is attached to each cooling header 7 so that spraying/stop of spraying of cooling water can be individually performed.

  • Patent number: 9637050
Abstract: A vehicle collision avoidance assist apparatus is capable of alerting the driver of a host vehicle that is to enter an intersection to the probability of collision or the like at right timing in order to prevent a crossing accident using information acquired from remote vehicles through inter-vehicle communication. The attention of the driver of the host vehicle to the front side including the intersection is increased when a large number of remote vehicles exist around the intersection which the host vehicle is to enter, compared with a case in which the number of remote vehicles around the intersection is small. The vehicle collision avoidance assist apparatus makes the alert, such as a warning, later than reference alert timing (normal alert timing) in consideration of the above situation to suppress excessive alert.
