Abstract: An electricity storage device tester including: a voltage application unit configured to apply to a circuit a direct-current voltage; an ammeter configured to acquire a current value of the circuit; a voltage control unit configured to control an output voltage of the voltage application unit; and a determination unit configured to determine whether the electricity storage device is defective or not based on the value acquired by the ammeter. The voltage application unit includes a plurality of power source devices connected in series with each other. One of the power source devices is a specific power source device which is configured to have a variable output voltage and of which both a maximum value and a step width of the output voltage are smaller than the power source devices other than the specific power source device.
Abstract: Provided is a disc storage device including: a casing capable of storing a stacked body including one or a plurality of disc-like recording media and a spacer interposed between the disc-like recording media and an inner surface of a bottom plate; a position regulating unit that regulates a storage position of the stacked body inside the casing; and a plurality of through holes formed in an area of the bottom plate of the casing where the spacer is provided, in which the spacer is adsorbed to tips of pins to be inserted through the through holes.
Abstract: Provided is an in-vehicle control device that allows the giving and receiving of data via inter-core communication at the timing of a user, as well as being capable of minimizing processing load while satisfying safety requirements of different functional safety levels in the inter-core communication of a multicore microcomputer. The data communication between a plurality of cores is performed by a writing means for writing the data of a core register into a region of a shared memory of the cores, where safety levels are set, using a hardware function. The cores have different functional safety levels.
Abstract: A circuit is formed by connecting positive terminals and negative terminals of a power storage device and an external power supply, and a resistor and a switch are arranged in series between a positive-side conductor and a negative-side conductor. An ON time for which the switch is temporarily closed before start of inspection is made longer as the capacity of the power storage device is larger. An ON voltage between the positive-side and negative-side conductors within the ON time, and an OFF voltage between these conductors at a time other than the ON time are obtained, and a parasitic resistance value of the circuit is calculated based on the ON and OFF voltages and a resistance value of the resistor. During the inspection, the voltage of the external power supply, which is applied to the power storage device, is increased according to the parasitic resistance value.
Abstract: An external electric power supply is connected to a charged electric power storage device in a reverse voltage direction to form a circuit. A voltage of the external electric power supply is adjusted such that a current does not flow immediately after the connection. Then, current measuring of acquiring a converged current value of the current in the circuit due to a decrease in the voltage of the electric power storage device, and quality deciding based on the converged current value are performed. Before the quality deciding, the electric power storage device is grouped such that the converged current value of when the electric power storage device is a normal product is constant in a group. In the quality deciding, a degree of variation in the converged current value is calculated for each group, and the quality is determined by comparing the calculated degree of variation with its predetermined level.
Abstract: A silicon carbide composite that is lightweight and has high thermal conductivity as well as a low thermal expansion coefficient close to that of a ceramic substrate, particularly a silicon carbide composite material suitable for heat dissipating components that are required to be particularly free of warping, such as heat sinks. A method for manufacturing a silicon carbide composite obtained by impregnating a porous silicon carbide molded body with a metal having aluminum as a main component, wherein the method for manufacturing a silicon carbide composite material is characterized in that the porous silicon carbide molded article is formed by a wet molding method, and preferably the wet molding method is a wet press method or is a wet casting method.
Abstract: A nozzle unit 34 which jets washer fluid toward a windshield is fixed to an arm piece 33 whose front end side is fitted to a hook fixing member 23e. As a result, the nozzle unit 34 can be fixed without using the fitting member adopted in the conventional case, and located closer to the hook fixing member 23e. This reduces a positional shift of the nozzle unit 34 relative to the wiper blade 20 to the minimum, thus stabilizing the injection-target locations of washer fluid on the windshield.

Abstract: A particulate detection apparatus and method for detecting particulates contained in a gas under measurement, including a sensor section, a circuit section and a control section. The sensor section is configured to electrify the particulates contained in the gas under measurement with ions generated by corona discharge. The circuit section is configured to detect an ion current value which is a current value corresponding to an amount of ions having adhered to and having electrified the particulates discharged from the sensor section. The control section is configured to convert the ion current value to a particle-number concentration of the particulates and to convert the particle-number concentration to a mass concentration of the particulates using a correlation obtained in advance between particle number and mass of the particulates.
