  • Patent number: 8035232
Abstract: An interlayer insulating film is formed on the upper surface of a semiconductor substrate, and lower-level interconnects are formed in the interlayer insulating film. A liner insulating film is formed on the upper surfaces of the interlayer insulating film and lower-level interconnects. An interlayer insulating film is formed on the upper surface of the liner insulating film. Upper-level interconnects are formed in the interlayer insulating film. The lower-level interconnects and the upper-level interconnects are connected with each other through vias. Parts of the liner insulating film formed in via-adjacent regions have a greater thickness than a part thereof formed outside the via-adjacent regions.

  • Publication number: 20100256895
Abstract: The execution operation curve is set by switching from the EGR-off time operation curve to the EGR-on time operation curve when the EGR is started with the cooling water temperature being more than or equal to the first temperature, the execution operation curve is set by switching from the EGR-on time operation curve to the EGR-off time operation curve f when the cooling water temperature becomes smaller than the second temperature that is lower than the first temperature, and controls the engine. Accordingly, frequent changes of the execution operation curve are restricted. As a result, the operation state of the engine with the EGR performed as necessary is effectively prevented from becoming unstable further.

  • Patent number: 7741228
Abstract: After a first insulating film is formed on a substrate, a wiring groove is formed in the first insulating film, and then a wire is formed inside the wiring groove. Subsequently, a protection film is formed on the first insulating film and on the wire, and then a hard mask film is formed on the protection film. After that, the hard mask film is patterned. Subsequently, the protection film and the first insulating film are partially removed using the patterned hard mask film to form an air gap groove, and then a second insulating film is formed to close an upper portion of the air gap groove for forming an air gap.

  • Publication number: 20100058737
Abstract: In a hybrid vehicle using an engine as one of power sources, an ECU obtains catalyst temperature. The ECU performs a catalyst warm-up operation if the catalyst temperature is lower than first catalyst temperature necessary for exhaust gas purification during a continuous operation of the engine. The ECU performs intermittency prohibition operation for prohibiting an intermittent operation of the engine if the catalyst temperature is between the first catalyst temperature and second catalyst temperature necessary for the exhaust gas purification at starting of the engine. The ECU performs a normal operation for allowing the intermittent operation of the engine if the catalyst temperature is higher than the second catalyst temperature. Thus, deterioration of fuel consumption due to catalyst warm-up is inhibited while inhibiting deterioration of emission in the hybrid vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20100063662
Abstract: If an ECU of a hybrid vehicle receives an EV request signal from an EV switch, the ECU determines whether an intermittency prohibition operation for emission deterioration prevention is in progress. The EV request signal indicates that a driver requests EV running using only a motor. If the ECU determines that the intermittency prohibition operation for the emission deterioration prevention is in progress, the ECU does not allow the EV running request from the driver but operates the engine continuously. Thus, the emission deterioration of the hybrid vehicle can be inhibited appropriately.
