  • Patent number: 5901144
Abstract: A mobile radio communications system having a plurality of base stations accommodating a plurality of mobile stations through radio transmission channels, each of the base stations being connected to a mobile communications exchanger through a plurality of signal lines. Each of the base stations is provided therein with a signal line allocating function unit for selecting a particular signal line from a plurality of signal lines and for allocating a communication slot for a mobile station dominated by the base station at a particular slot position on the selected signal line, a radio channel allocating function unit for allocating a communication slot for the mobile station dominated by the base station at a particular slot position on a radio transmission channel at a particular frequency, and a radio signal delay control unit for performing delay control for a timing at which the base station transmits a radio signal to the mobile station dominated by the base station.

  • Patent number: 5749053
Abstract: A mobile communication network is provided with a plurality of base stations each of which communicates with a plurality of mobile stations, a plurality of base station controllers (BSC) or control stations each of which is connected to a group of base stations, and switching centers each of which is connected to a plurality of BSC's. The BSC's are interconnected by an exclusive network and terminal information of the mobile stations are stored by the respective local service points (SCP) of the BSC's in a decentralized manner. When an authentication processing and the retrieval of location data for a mobile station is to be made by each BSC and in the case where necessary terminal information is not held in the local SCP of that BSC, the BSC broadcasts a request message for transfer of terminal information or vicarious execution of authentication processing to other BSC's through the exclusive network and waits for a response message from a BSC in which the necessary terminal information is held.

  • Patent number: 5732073
Abstract: A slots assignment method for a control channel signal in a mobile telecommunication system employing a time division multiple access/time division duplex (TDMA-TDD) system having a plurality of base stations each having at least one mobile station. Each of the base stations detects a control-channel signal transmitted from other base stations and a control-channel signal transmitted from the mobile station throughout a plurality of multiple frame periods, discriminates down-link control-channel slots from up-link control-channel slots being used by other base stations, selects, as optimum down-link control-channel slot candidates, ones of idle slots of idle slot blocks other than the down and up-link control-channel slots being used by other base stations with use of a predetermined evaluation function, and assigns one of the selected idle slots as a down-link control-channel slot of its own base station.

  • Patent number: 4322263
Abstract: In a method for growing ribbon-like crystal of crystalline substance, a seed crystal is contacted on the upper surface of melt of crystalline substance raised up to the level beyond the upper edge of a crucible, thereafter the contact interface between said seed crystal or a successively growing crystal and the melt (the solid-liquid interface) is cooled under freezing point of said crystalline substance, thereby the crystal is made to successively grow on said solid-liquid interface, while said seed crystal or said successively growing crystal is drawn out substantially in horizontal direction, wherein the circulating convection is made to cause in such a manner that high temperature melt flows underside of said solid-liquid interface, thereby the crystal growth in the direction of depth of the melt is prevented.

  • Patent number: 4006411
Abstract: A static capacitance type yarn denier sensing arrangement is provided which includes a high frequency current source and a sensing condenser which has a pair of opposing electrodes electrically coupled with both sides of the h.f. current source and representing a passage for passing a yarn under measurement. The high frequency current from said current source is subject to amplitude modulation in response to instant denier variation of the yarn. The arrangement further includes a half wave voltage doubler rectifier circuit which is electrically connected with the sensing condenser acting as an input condenser to be included therein and an amplifier adapted for amplifying the output from the rectifier circuit.

  • Patent number: 3946625
Abstract: A detecting float is normally made floating on a first liquid, and when a liquid to be detected having a specific gravity less than the first liquid is oncoming, the detecting float sinks relative to the new liquid level as compared with the position which it assumed relative to the level of the first liquid. When the layer of the liquid to be detected increases to a given thickness, the detecting float sinks by a given distance or amount to permit the ingress of the liquid to be detected into the float, which therefore becomes heavier and sinks further downward. An external float surrounds the detecting float, and is formed with a liquid port at a location slightly below the level of the first liquid for allowing the passage of the liquid which reaches the internally located detecting float, but intercepting the liquid to be detected which is in the form of an oil film.
