  • Publication number: 20130307006
Abstract: An electro-optical device includes a reflective layer, a light emitting element including a light emitting layer formed between an anode and a cathode, and a driving transistor configured to control a current flowing through the light emitting element. In the same layer as the reflective layer, a relay electrode included in a current path from the driving transistor to the anode is formed with a gap between the relay electrode and the reflective layer. A contact electrode electrically connecting the relay electrode and the anode is formed as a light shielding layer that blocks light entering the gap.

  • Patent number: 8343393
Abstract: In a molding apparatus in which upper and lower dies are held in a bearing, there are provided pipes for introducing N2 gas used for controlling temperatures of balls of the bearing, whereby difference in temperature between the guide member and the upper and lower dies is controlled. With this structure, it is possible to prevent generation of an excessive compressive force between the upper die and the lower die and the bearing, to thereby prevent breakage of the dies. Further, it is also possible to prevent formation of gaps between the upper die and the lower die and the bearing, to thereby mold an optical element excellent in accuracy of an optical axis.

  • Patent number: 8233561
Abstract: Data comprising a pulse signal is divided into predetermined data segments. The number of pulse-signal fluctuations in the data segment is counted. A transmitter transmits the unchanged data to a receiving portion in a case where the number of pulse-signal fluctuations does not exceed a predetermined number. On the other hand, in a case where the number of pulse-signal fluctuations exceeds the predetermined number, the pulse signal is converted so as to be unchanged at the fluctuation of the pulse signal but to be fluctuated when the pulse signal does not fluctuate. Then, the transmitter transmits the converted pulse signal to the receiving portion wherein only the converted pulse signal is converted to the original pulse signal.

  • Patent number: 8100328
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method for data processing for IC tags and an image forming device capable of recording an image onto a conveying medium on which IC tags are mounted. The apparatus and method set up a state that enables reliable radio communication between a reader/writer and an IC tag and read and/or write electronic information from/to IC tags. The reader/writer's antenna to face IC tags mounted on the conveying medium, arranged in multiple rows and columns in the conveyance direction, is skewed so that the IC tags pass sequentially under the antenna and each IC tag can be identified. The reader/writer reads and/or writes electronic information associated with the thus identified IC tag.

  • Publication number: 20110315109
Abstract: An intake manifold includes a surge tank and a plurality of inlet pipes extending from the surge tank. Of the inlet pipes, proximal portions of an adjacent pair of inlet pipes are integrated, for example, by being connected with a plate-like connecting portion. The proximal portions of the two adjacent inlet pipes are integrated with a side wall of the surge tank by a reinforcing rib. The reinforcing rib extends, for example, from the connecting portion to the side wall of the surge tank. The intake manifold may be formed by a lower half body and an upper half body, which are welded to each other by using welding margins provided in the half bodies. In this case, it is preferable that parts of each welding margin that are located to correspond to the proximal portions of the inlet pipes be wider than the remainder of the same welding margin.
