    Abstract: First, the position and the size of a target photographic subject such as the face of a person in an original image acquired by image capturing is acquired, and then mask information indicating a relation between a position to be subjected to predetermined image processing in the original image and the strength of the predetermined image processing is generated based on the acquired position and size. Subsequently, a new image is generated by predetermined image processing of a different strength being performed on each position in the original image by use of the generated mask information. In the generation of the new image, for example, one of the original image and a processed image acquired by the predetermined image processing being performed on the original image is combined with the other image by use of transmissivity indicated by the mask information for each pixel.

The nitrile rubber-metal laminated gasket material has excellent LLC resistance and oil resistance under high temperature, although it uses a surface-treating agent for metal, which is free from chromium and fluorine.

    Abstract: An insulated DC power supply includes a voltage transformer, a switching device and a primary-side regulating circuit. The voltage transformer includes primary and secondary windings and an auxiliary winding. The switching device causes current to flow intermittently through the primary winding. The primary-side regulating circuit receives a voltage proportional to a current flowing through the primary winding of the transformer, and a voltage proportional to a voltage induced in the auxiliary winding of the transformer to generate and output a drive pulse for turning on or off the switching device. The primary-side regulating circuit includes an ON/OFF signal generator circuit and first and second timer circuits. The switching device is turned off upon expiration of the first timer circuit, and the ON/OFF signal generator circuit does not generate a signal for turn-on of the switching device when the second timer circuit expires.

The transmissivity is enhanced by also making the inside of the contact hole function as a transmissible area for image formation by applying optical orientation to the alignment film in the contact hole to result in enhancement of the luminance of the screen.
