    Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for manufacturing a thin uneven member. The apparatus includes a lower die fixed to a press bed, an upper die fixed to a ram and disposed opposed to the lower die, and a pressure-drive unit which presses the ram using a servo motor as a power source, the servo motor being fixed to a first support member. The pressure-drive unit includes a motion converting mechanism which converts a rotation of the servo motor to a linear motion of a lifting member, and a cylinder block connected and fixed to the first support member and including first and second pistons arranged in series vertically, wherein the first piston is connected to the lifting member through a second support member, and the second piston, larger in diameter than the first piston, presses the ram.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a scanning unit repeatedly scans an internal region of an object with an ultrasonic wave at a predetermined frame rate via an ultrasonic probe. An image generation unit extracts a blood flow signal based on a Doppler effect from a reflection signal and repeatedly generates a blood flow image representing a spatial distribution associated with power of the blood flow signal at the frame rate. A power average value associated with a frame or local region is calculated for the blood flow image. The blood flow image is corrected. In the correcting, a gain on the power values in the frame or local region in which the power average value exceeds the threshold are substantially reduced, and power values in the frame or local region in which the power average value is not more than the threshold are maintained.

Such vehicle seat device is capable of restricting excessive forward movement and deformation of the inner board.

A blood-flow image creating unit creates a blood-flow image including depth values from the three-dimensional particle data. A composite-image creating unit then creates a composite image by coordinating the order of rendering particles and tissue based on the depth values of respective pixels included in the tissue image and the depth values of respective particles included in the blood-flow image. A display control unit then controls display of the composite image so as to be displayed in order onto a monitor included in an output unit.

    Abstract: Reduction in the reliability of a seal portion is prevented. The reduction is caused by a light shielding portion formed on the seal portion of a TFT substrate to hamper curing an ultraviolet curable sealing material. A sealing material has a two-layer structure of an ultraviolet curable sealing material that is an inner sealing material and a thermosetting and ultraviolet curable sealing material or a thermosetting sealing material that is an outer sealing material. A light shielding portion is formed on a TFT substrate under the outer sealing material. The light shielding portion is not formed on the TFT substrate under the inner sealing material. When ultraviolet rays are applied from the TFT substrate side, the inner sealing material is cured in a short time. The outer sealing material is then cured by heating. Thus, the overall seal portion can be sufficiently cured, and a highly reliable seal portion can be formed.

The signal generating unit generates an added signal by adding the groups, and to generate an added amplitude signal by adding the amplitudes of the groups. The first Doppler signal extracting unit extracts a first Doppler signal that corresponds to motion from the added signal. The second Doppler signal extracting unit configured to extract a second Doppler signal having a property that differ from the property of the first Doppler signal. At this point, the Doppler signal extracting units are configured so as to extract the Doppler signals respectively while reducing an artifact due to tissue motion.
