Publication number: 20050141700Abstract: A wrist-mounted portable cellular telephone set has its constituent elements separated from each other. Indispensable ones of the elements are collected to form a portable section, which is mountable on a person's wrist. The remaining ones of the elements are collected to form an independent body. As a result, the wrist-mounted portable cellular telephone set is improved in design, comfortableness in wear, and in operability. The independent body forms a stationary section, which is provided with a character input means and separated from the portable section. The portable section is provided with all the function of a cellular phone other than those functions already provided in the stationary section. The wrist-mounted portable cellular telephone set is constructed of the stationary section and the portable section. A character input control signal is transmitted from a character input means of the stationary section to a display panel of the portable section.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2003Publication date: June 30, 2005Inventors: Takeshi Takeda, Michio Akita

Publication number: 20050017691Abstract: A full charge condition of a battery is determined based on a battery temperature gradient computed at every sampling time based on two values of detected battery temperatures. However, the battery temperature detected when the level of a charge current is switched does not exhibit an accurate temperature of the battery due to contact resistance existing in contact portion of a battery side terminal and a charger side terminal, resulting in inaccurate detection of the full charge condition. A microcomputer corrects the battery temperatures detected after the level of the charge current is switched and the full charge determination is made through computation of the battery temperature gradient using the corrected battery temperatures.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 16, 2004Publication date: January 27, 2005Inventors: Takao Aradachi, Hidekazu Harada, Kenrou Ishimaru, Nobuhiro Takano, Takeshi Takeda

Publication number: 20050019441Abstract: An injection molding machine includes a plasticating unit for plasticating a thermoplastic resin, and an injecting unit connected to the plasticating unit through a connecting passage to inject the plasticated resin into a mold. In the connecting passage, provided is a buffering unit for reserving the resin in an amount at least equal to the quantity of the resin injected per one shot. The plasticated resin is temporarily reserved in the buffering unit, and then, the reserved resin is fed to the injecting unit when the measuring is carried out, whereby the plasticating unit can be driven continuously simultaneously with the operation of the injecting unit and the mold. The molding cycle can shortened with the plastication efficiency being enhanced.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2004Publication date: January 27, 2005Inventors: Kunihito Seta, Takeshi Takeda

Publication number: 20050013144Abstract: A DC power source unit supplies a DC voltage to a power tool through an adapter when a power switch of the tool is turned ON and also charges a battery pack used as an alternative power source of the tool when the power tool is not operated. In order to prevent a rush current from flow in a switch interposed between a switching power source circuit and the battery pack when charging the battery pack is commenced, the switch is rendered OFF when the output voltage from the switching power source is greater than the battery voltage. Charging the battery is started upon once lowering the output of the switching power source to a level lower than the battery voltage.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 16, 2004Publication date: January 20, 2005Inventors: Nobuhiro Takano, Takao Aradachi, Hidekazu Harada, Kenrou Ishimaru, Takeshi Takeda

Publication number: 20040232892Abstract: A DC power source unit supplies a DC voltage to a power tool through an adapter when a power switch of the tool is turned ON and also charges a battery pack used as an alternative power source of the tool when the power tool is not operated. A minimum battery temperature gradient amongst battery temperature gradients ever computed is used to determine whether the battery pack has cooling effect when forcibly cooled by a cooling fan or whether the battery pack has reached a full charge condition. When charging the battery pack is interrupted due to operation of the power tool, computing the battery temperature gradient is halted for some time or determination of the battery pack's full charge condition is not performed for some time in order to prevent the minimum battery temperature from being updated during interruption of charging of the battery pack.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 21, 2004Publication date: November 25, 2004Inventors: Takao Aradachi, Takeshi Takeda, Hidekazu Harada, Nobuhiro Takano, Kenrou Ishimaru, Kazuhiko Funabashi
