  • Patent number: 10752183
Abstract: A laminated composite interior part includes a first member made of synthetic resin and having a mating surface; and a second member made of elastically deformable synthetic resin and having a plate portion substantially parallel to the mating surface. The plate portion has integrally-formed and interspersed protrusions protruding toward the mating surface. The second member is placed on the first member with distal end portions of the protrusions being in contact with the mating surface. Cushioning properties are provided by elastic deformation of the protrusions, caused as the protrusions' distal end portions are relatively pressed against the mating surface. Flexural rigidity of each of the protrusions against a compressive load is anisotropic about its axis, so that the protrusion is flexurally deformed in one direction about its axis with the distal end portion thereof sliding on the mating surface. Surface roughness of the mating surface is less than 0.20.

  • Patent number: 9114768
Abstract: A bumper reinforcement for a vehicle (also simply referred to as a bumper reinforcement, herein below) 10 in FIG. 1 (a)-(c) is arranged on a front side of a vehicle, and FIG. 1(a) is a perspective view, FIG. 1(b) is an enlarged view of a section taken along IB-IB in FIG. 1(a), and FIG. 1(c) is an enlarged view of a section taken along IC-IC in FIG. 1(a). FIG. 2 is a view that also shows the bumper reinforcement 10, and FIG. 2(a) is a plan view seen from above in a state where the bumper reinforcement 10 is arranged in the vehicle, and FIG. 2(b) is a front view seen from a front side of the vehicle. FIG. 3 is a plan view showing a rectangular metal plate material 12, which is a material of the bumper reinforcement 10. In this example, a steel plate for hot press forming is used, which is bent into a given shape by hot press forming, and is given high strength up to tensile strength of 1400 MPa or higher through quench hardening.

  • Publication number: 20140152029
Abstract: A bumper reinforcement for a vehicle having projecting portions apart from each other in a vehicle up-down direction, and projecting toward a vehicle outer side, and the bumper reinforcement includes a linear portion at center in the width direction, a pair of inclined portions at respective ends, and a pair of curved portions smoothly connecting the linear portion and the inclined portions in a plan view seen from above. The curved portions are provided symmetrically with respect to a center in the width direction, inside a pair of support portions fixed to a vehicle body. The curved portions are low strength portions, in each of which a width in the up-down direction is expanded, and the number of the projecting portions is relatively small or a projecting dimension of the projecting portion is reduced. The linear portion and the inclined portion are not the low strength portions but general portions.
