    Abstract: In a screw compressor, a lobe profile of cross-sections perpendicular to the axial direction in a female rotor that rotates about a second rotation center changes in the axial direction. One lobe of the lobe profile of the female rotor includes: a first contour line defining a leading flank on a rotation direction side of the female rotor with a lobe bottom as a boundary point; a second contour line defining a trailing flank on an opposite side of the rotation direction; and a third contour line defining a lobe tip having both endpoints at which the female has the maximum radius.

The compressor includes a liquid amount adjusting unit that adjusts an amount of the coolant supplied from the liquid injection path to the compressor main body according to a change in the rotational speed of the rotating wall, and a compressed gas supply path that supplies compressed gas to a downstream side of the liquid amount adjusting unit in the liquid injection path. The compressed gas is supplied from the compressed gas supply path to the liquid injection path according to the amount of the coolant supplied to the compressor main body.

    Abstract: In an oil-cooled screw compressor, a tooth crest arc of a fixed width is provided to the tooth crest of a male tooth profile, and simultaneously a tooth bottom arc is provided to the tooth bottom of a female tooth profile. Due to the actions thereof, the operation chamber immediately before disappearing exists only in a bottom half region from a line that connects the centers of the male and female tooth profiles, and the opening area relative to the volume of the operation chamber can be increased. As a result, the discharge of oil becomes smooth and energy loss is reduced.
