  • Publication number: 20170210336
Abstract: Load input to an occupant from a buckle is reduced. A lift-up buckle device includes a buckle that engages with a tongue inserted through webbing worn by an occupant. The lift-up buckle device also includes wires that each include a portion configuring a first fixed portion fixed to the buckle side and another portion configuring a supported portion supported by a wire guide, and that move the buckle due to a distance between the fixed portions and the supported portions being changed. Respective locations between the fixed portions and the supported portions of the wires are displaced in a direction intersecting an engaged direction of the tongue when an external force in a direction of the engaged direction of the tongue has been input to the buckle.

  • Publication number: 20170210338
Abstract: In a buckle device, a pressing force, applied from wire ropes to an inside wall face of a wire guide groove of a wire guide, is along an imaginary line passing through a center of a cover plate first hole portion of a cover plate fixing tab of a cover plate and a center of a wire guide hole portion of the wire guide as viewed from the vehicle inside, similarly to a pressing force applied to a first fixing bolt that fixes the cover plate to a support plate, and these pressing forces are both oriented in the same direction. This enables rotation moment to be suppressed from occurring at the cover plate when the wire ropes are pulled toward their length direction leading end side.

  • Patent number: 9637084
Abstract: A webbing take-up device is obtained capable of restricting movement of a clutch member in the axial direction of a second gear. In the webbing take-up device, a movement prevention portion is formed, on a rotor side, at an intermediate bottom portion of a large gear portion, and a clutch spring attached to the rotor abuts the movement prevention portion, thereby preventing any movement of the clutch spring further to the intermediate bottom portion side. Movement of the clutch spring in the axial direction of the rotor can accordingly be suppressed, enabling movement of the clutch spring in the axial direction of the rotor to be restricted.

  • Publication number: 20170021796
Abstract: In a buckle device, cord portions that are pulled out from a distal end portion in a longitudinal direction of a helical portion of a curl cord are electrically and mechanically connected to a terminal of a buckle switch of a buckle. The distal end portion in the longitudinal direction of the helical portion of the curl cord is held by a holding bracket that is provided at a first cover component of a buckle cover. Consequently, even when the buckle cover is moved, excellent connections can still be maintained between the cord portions of the curl cord and the terminal of the buckle switch of the buckle.

  • Publication number: 20160304050
Abstract: In a seat belt device, when a buckle cover is moved obliquely upward in a vehicle forward direction relative to a buckle guide and the buckle cover reaches a moving endpoint at a vehicle upper side relative to the buckle guide, cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover become sandwiched between vehicle lower side surfaces of guide-side engagement portions of the buckle guide, and the outside surfaces of guide long-side wall portions of the buckle guide. Due to this, not only movement of the cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover in the vehicle upward direction but also movement of the cover-side engagement portions outwards in the thickness directions of the cross-sectional shapes of the buckle cover and the buckle guide are restrained by the guide-side engagement portions.

  • Patent number: 8925849
Abstract: A webbing retractor that can alleviate the load on a reducing balance spring without increasing cost and weight is obtained. When a ring inertially rotates in a retraction direction together with a ratchet gear, a ring-side pressing portion of a load receiving portion accommodating portion formed in the ring presses a spring-side load receiving portion of a clutch spring in the retraction direction. Due to this, the clutch spring is loosened, whereby the ring can easily inertially rotate in the retraction direction together with the ratchet gear, and the load acting on a reducing balance spring can be alleviated.

  • Patent number: 8292209
Abstract: An operating load of an overload releasing mechanism is made to be high by a simple method. In a webbing retractor, spring claws engage with recesses of a rotor, and a gear wheel and the rotor are connected. When relative rotational force is applied between the rotor and the gear wheel, the spring claws elastically deform and engagement thereof with the recesses is released. Due thereto, connection of the rotor and the gear wheel is released, and the overload releasing mechanism is operated. Here, urging members urge the spring claws toward a side of engaging with the recesses. Due thereto, the operating load of the overload releasing mechanism can be made to be high by a simple method of merely adding the urging members.
