    Abstract: A latitudinal division type assist grip having a sufficient load bearing capacity is provided. The assist grip includes an outer cylinder member, a first divisional body, a second divisional body, and an elastic reinforcement member. A first fitting end portion of the first divisional body and a second fitting end portion of the second divisional body are fitted to each other inside the outer cylinder member. The elastic reinforcement member is interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder member and the first fitting end portion, and presses the first fitting end portion toward the second fitting end portion.

    Abstract: In a radiator grill guard mounted on the front of a vehicle, a guard main body is a one-piece molded structure, shaped like a square ring, by using synthetic resin, for example, filler containing polypropylene. The guard main body is hollowed by a known blow molding method. A fog-lamp mounting part is provided at the middle of each of the vertically extending sections of the guard main body. A fog lamp is mounted on each fog-lamp mounting part with the aid of an L-shaped bracket. A plurality of, preferable two, plate-like ribs, that extend parallel to each other, are integrally formed within the inner apace of each vertically extending section, while also extending across that inner space. The plurality of plate-like ribs are longitudinally (vertically) extended between the upper and lower body mounting parts of each of the vertically extending sections.

The roof line water guide portion opens toward the window frame and prevents water from flowing from the roof onto the windshield.

The base has a surface with a rugged pattern of a dimension larger than a dimension of the crimps of the cover. The pattern of the base may be hemispheric concave fisheyes which are two-dimensionally arranged side by side, for example. A metallic film is coated on the pattern of the base.

    Abstract: A flush mounting molding of the present invention has a strip-shaped head covering a channel formed between a window frame and a windshield glass of an automobile, and a leg, to be inserted and installed into the channel, having a window frame contacting lip and a windshield glass receiving lip and formed integrally and vertically on the bottom surface of the strip-shaped head. The window frame contacting lip is divided into a plurality of window frame contacting lip members by slits in the longitudinal direction thereof, and the length of the window frame contacting lip members is varied in the direction toward the window frame. Thus, some of the window frame contacting lip members contact with the window frame in approximately perpendicular manner. Accordingly, the flush mounting molding does not come out of the channel. Thus, no defective automobile assembly due to the come-out occurs, and the productivity of the automobile assembly is improved.
