  • Publication number: 20160340146
Abstract: A folding processing unit in a sheet post-processing device comprises a first conveying path, upstream side conveying rollers, downstream side conveying rollers, folding rollers between the upstream side conveying rollers and the downstream side conveying rollers, and the second folding rollers. The folding rollers fold a sheet at the first nip portion between the two rollers. The second folding rollers are placed at a downstream side of the first nip portion. An edge face detection sensor for detecting the edge face of the sheet is placed on the first conveying path, at a downstream side of the first nip portion. The second folding rollers pinch the sheet folded by the first nip portion at the second nip portion, to further fold the sheet, based on the detection result of the edge face detection sensor. Herewith, degree of accuracy for folding behavior improves.

  • Patent number: 9457806
Abstract: Based on a parking frame certainty degree indicative of a degree of certainty about a presence is a parking frame in the travel direction of the vehicle and a parking frame entering certainty degree indicative of a degree of certainty about whether the vehicle enters the parking frame, a total certainty degree indicative of a total degree of the certainty of the parking frame certainty degree and the parking frame entering certainty degree is calculated. Acceleration of the vehicle is controlled depending on a manipulation amount of an accelerator pedal manipulated by a drive to instruct a driving force and is suppressed in a higher suppression degree as the total certainty degree is higher. Furthermore, the acceleration of the vehicle is suppressed in a lower suppression degree as the vehicle speed of the vehicle is higher.

  • Patent number: 9393869
Abstract: A total certainty factor indicating a total degree of certainty of the parking frame certainty degree and the parking frame entering certainty degree is calculated based on a parking frame certainty degree indicating the degree of certainty that a parking frame is present in a travel direction of a vehicle, and a parking frame entering certainty degree indicating the degree of certainty that the vehicle enters the parking frame. When the total certainty factor is low, acceleration of the vehicle controlled according to an operation amount of an accelerator pedal for instructing a driving force by operation of a driver is suppressed with a low suppression degree, as compared with a case where the total certainty factor is high. Further, the acceleration of the vehicle is suppressed with a lower suppression degree as the vehicle speed of the vehicle is higher.

  • Publication number: 20160049897
Abstract: A thermal emission source that allows a wider range of material choices than those of conventional techniques, so that light having a desired peak wavelength can easily be obtained. A thermal emission source includes a thermo-optical converter composed of an optical structure in which a refractive index distribution is formed in a member made of an intrinsic semiconductor so as to resonate with light of a shorter wavelength than a wavelength corresponding to a bandgap of the intrinsic semiconductor. When heat is externally supplied to the thermo-optical converter, light having a spectrum in a band of shorter wavelengths than a cutoff wavelength is produced by interband absorption in the intrinsic semiconductor, and light of a resonant wavelength ?r in the wavelength band, the light causing resonance in the optical structure, is selectively intensified and emitted as thermal emission.
