By executing the attribute-related word search program 23, when there is a set of words having the same attribute among words whose co-occurrence index calculated between words having attributes related with each other is equal to or more than the lower limit value, the CPU 11 determines the set of words to be synonymous. By executing the synonym registration program 24, the CPU 11 presents the words determined to be synonymous to the user 3 as synonym candidates and registers the words presented in the synonym dictionary.
