  • Patent number: 12323928
Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a wireless device and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the wireless device receives an indication of a power adjustment between a set of resource allocations from the first time instance to the second time instance. The set of resource allocations is associated with wireless communication between a network node and a user equipment (UE) via the wireless device. Then, the wireless device adjusts a power backoff (BO) of the wireless device based on the indication of the power adjustment between the set of resource allocations. The method provides power adjustment signaling to the wireless device to enable dynamic adjustment of the power BO of the wireless device based on the resource allocation of incoming signals. Hence, it improves the energy efficiency of the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 12323837
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for aperiodic measurement configurations. In one aspect, delaying transitioning of a secondary cell group (SCG) to an active state until a next synchronization signal block (SSB) or periodic reference signal may result in an excessive delay in obtaining network resources of the SCG. Some aspects described herein enable a base station (BS) to transmit signaling using a master cell group (MCG) cell to schedule resources for an aperiodic reference signal transmission and measurement using the SCG. For example, the BS may transmit signaling to a user equipment (UE) to identify a reference signal resource for an aperiodic reference signal transmission and measurement. In this case, the BS may transmit the aperiodic reference signal using an SCG cell, and the UE may measure the aperiodic reference signal and provide a report identifying the measurement of the aperiodic reference signal.

  • Patent number: 12323343
Abstract: Aspects relate to wireless communication on multiple component carriers. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may selectively apply transmission configuration indicator (TCI) information and/or spatial relation information received via a medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) to component carriers. In some examples, a UE may apply the TCI information and/or spatial relation information included in a MAC-CE to multiple component carriers if the UE has been configured with a list that includes the component carriers (and, optionally, if a component carrier identified by the MAC-CE is a member of the list of component carriers). If the above condition is (or conditions are) not met, the UE applies the TCI information and/or spatial relation information included in the MAC-CE to the component carrier identified by the MAC-CE.

  • Patent number: 12323838
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for performing wireless communications at a user equipment (UE). For example, a process can include transmitting, from a UE based on a cross-link interference (CLI) cancellation capability of a receiver of the UE, a CLI cancellation capability indication. The process can include receiving, at the UE, a communications signal. In some implementations, the UE received the communications signal from a network entity. In some cases, receiving the communications signal from the network entity at least partially coincides with a transmission of an additional communications signal by an additional UE, wherein the additional UE is different from the UE.

  • Patent number: 12323344
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support uplink reporting techniques for multi transmission-reception point (TRP) transmissions. Various reporting configurations may be provided that allow for user equipment (UE) communications via multiple concurrent wireless connections with multiple TRPs. A UE may identify a reporting configuration and transmit a report (e.g., a buffer status report (BSR) or a power headroom report (PHR)) to one or more of the TRPs based on the identified reporting configuration. The multiple TRPs may have non-ideal backhaul connections and the reporting configuration may allow the UE to transmit separate reports to different TRPs. The different TRPs may then use the separate reports for corresponding communications with the UE. In cases where shared radio frequency spectrum is used for communications, a single channel access priority class (CAPC) for multiple TRPs may be determined for a contention-based channel access procedure.

  • Publication number: 20250176053
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for detecting when a control link between a user equipment (UE) and a base station is lost and recovering the control link. In one example, a UE may detect that a control link with a base station is lost based on a timer or counter expiring or based on failing to receive signaling from the base station. In another example, a UE may be configured to transmit uplink transmissions to a base station to maintain a control link with the base station, and the base station may detect that a control link with the UE is lost if the base station fails to receive one or more uplink transmissions from the UE. If the control link is lost, the base station and the UE may communicate to re-establish the control link.

  • Publication number: 20250175271
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support predictive beam management mode switching. A user equipment (UE) may proactively request or be indicated to switch beam management modes associated with generation of channel state information (CSI). The UE may request (e.g., or be requested) to switch from using a current beam management mode associated with prediction of CSI to using another beam management mode associated with generation of CSI, for example, based on a change of the operating conditions of the UE or a difference between predicted and measured channel characteristics. Based on the switch, the UE may generate and transmit CSI in accordance with the switched-to beam management mode.

  • Publication number: 20250175836
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for measurement report resource management in wireless communications. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a first measurement report that includes a request field that indicates whether additional uplink resources for the one or more additional measurement reports are requested. The one or more additional measurement reports may be requested if a predictive estimation at the UE indicates a change reported measurements, such as a change in a ranking of beam measurements. The request field may include one or more bit points that indicate whether additional uplink resources are requested, or a type of resources requested. A network entity may allocate uplink resources for additional measurement reports according to the request field, and the UE may transmit one or more additional measurement reports using the additional uplink resources.
