  • Patent number: 12363611
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine a link quality for one or more links associated with the first UE. A link quality for a link of the one or more links may be based at least in part on one or more measurements associated with at least a subset of a plurality of beams of the link. The first UE may generate, based at least in part on the link quality for the one or more links associated with the first UE, a connectivity graph of at least a portion of a wireless network in which the first UE is included. The first UE may identify, using the connectivity graph, a route to a third UE included in at least the portion of the wireless network. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 12363660
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform cell discovery in a window by monitoring for and receiving synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) from a network entity. The UE may receive an indication of a numerical quantity of beams in a set of beams associated with SSB transmission during a discovery window. The UE may map a set of SSB transmissions within the discovery window to a set of SSB candidates within the discovery window using the receive indication of the numerical quantity of beams. The UE may select, for each SSB candidate of the set of SSB candidates, a beam from the set of beams for monitoring each SSB candidate. The UE may monitor the SSB candidates in accordance with the beam selected for each SSB candidate. The UE may then receive one or more SSBs in accordance with the monitoring.

  • Patent number: 12363734
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for beamforming in wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to beamforming configurations for multicast communications. A transmitting device may transmit multicast data to multiple receiving devices, concurrently, via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The PDSCH may be preceded by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The PDCCH may provide scheduling information for the PDSCH, including a multicast beam associated with the PDSCH and a timing offset or delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH. A receiving device may determine that the PDSCH contains multicast data based on an indication in the PDCCH. To receive the PDSCH, each receiving device may tune its antennas in a direction of the scheduled multicast beam or a default beam based on the delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH.

  • Patent number: 12363554
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may receive a first beamformed transmission associated with a directional beam from another UE. The UE may measure a main lobe or at least one side lobe associated with the directional beam, and determine a level of interference at the UE based on the measuring. One or more of the main lobe or the at least one side lobe associated with the directional beam may cause interference to a second beamformed transmission associated with another directional beam from a base station. The UE may transmit a beam report including an indication of the main lobe or the at least one side lobe associated with the directional beam causing the interference to the second beamformed transmission associated with the other directional beam from the base station.

  • Publication number: 20250227763
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an initial set of probabilities, associated with a first set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), indicating chances of using SSBs within the first set for a random access procedure. The UE may determine an updated set of probabilities, associated with a second set of SSBs, based on the initial set of probabilities and indicating chances of using SSBs within the second set for the random access procedure. Accordingly, the UE may perform the random access procedure with an SSB selected from the second set of SSBs. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 12355707
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may use a resource configuration to determine whether to transmit or receive on a particular sub-band during a given communication period (e.g., a time slot or a symbol duration). In some examples, a network entity provides a bit map to a UE where the bit map indicates how sub-bands for a given communication period are allocated for full-duplex transmissions. The UE may then determine, based on the bit map, whether to transmit or receive on a particular sub-band. In some examples, a network entity provides a resource configuration to a UE where the resource configuration indicates how half-duplex transmissions and full-duplex transmissions are configured over a period of time. In this case, the UE may be configured by a defined rule to determine, based on the resource configuration, whether to transmit or receive on a particular sub-band.
