  • Patent number: 12267706
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a first wireless node in a wireless communications system are described. The techniques may enable a first wireless node (e.g., an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node in an IAB system) to establish a communications link with a second wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, via a reception beam of the first wireless node, an interfering signal from an aggressor wireless node. The first wireless node may perform an interference measurement of the interfering signal at the first reception beam. The first wireless node may transmit a report indicating the interference measurement to the second wireless node. The second wireless node may schedule communications based on the interference measurement. In some examples, the report may indicate one or more parameters of the interfering signal. In some examples, the report may correspond to one or more beams.

  • Patent number: 12267860
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support relaxed sensing for new radio (NR) sidelink over millimeter wave (mmW) operating frequencies. In a first aspect, a method by a user equipment (UE) of wireless communication includes identifying a resource selection trigger that indicates selection of one or more sidelink slots from a resource selection window. The UE may obtain long-term interference sensing statistics observed by the UE prior to the resource selection trigger. The UE can reduce a default sensing window length in accordance with the long-term interference sensing statistics and transmit a sidelink transmission in the selected sidelink slots. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 12267271
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for discontinuation of repetitions of downlink communications based on an indication provided as part of a network access procedure. The discontinuation or repetitions may be responsive to a presence of one or more enhancement techniques that provide for higher likelihood of successful communications with fewer instances of downlink transmissions, such as one or more reference signal transmissions that are associated with the network access procedure. A base station may transmit an indication of a termination of a downlink communication, which reduces a number of repetitions of the downlink communication. The indication of the termination may be an indication that a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) or a sounding reference signal (SRS) is scheduled before or during the network access procedure.
