Abstract: A top cover assembly for secondary battery, including: first and second electrode terminals; a top cover plate insulated from the first electrode terminal and electrically connected with the second electrode terminal; a contact piece attached to the top cover plate; and a thermo-deformable piece opposite to the contact piece, one end being electrically connected with the first electrode terminal, the other end being a free end; when a temperature at which the thermo-deformable piece deforms is not reached and internal pressure of the secondary battery exceeds a reference pressure, the contact piece deforms to be electrically connected with the thermo-deformable piece so that the first electrode terminal is electrically connected with the second electrode terminal, and when the temperature at which the thermo-deformable piece deforms is reached, the free end deforms away from the contact piece, and the thermo-deformable piece is kept insulated from the contact piece.

Abstract: Provided are a top cover assembly and a secondary battery containing the same. The top cover assembly includes a first electrode terminal, a conduction member, a second electrode terminal, and a top cover plate insulated from the first electrode terminal and electrically connected to the second electrode terminal, the secondary battery further comprises a contact plate which is attached to the top cover plate, the conduction member is insulated from the top cover plate and comprises an electrode terminal connection portion, a first fuse member, a contact plate connection portion, and a connection layer, the first fuse member has a melting point lower than the electrode terminal connection portion and the contact plate connection portion; the first fuse member is connected to the electrode terminal connection portion via the connection layer, and/or the first fuse member is connected to the contact plate connection portion via the connection layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cap assembly for a secondary battery and the secondary battery. The cap assembly of the secondary battery includes: a cap plate including a cover sheet having a first electrode lead-out hole; a first terminal member including a first terminal and a conductive sealing ring, the first terminal penetrating into the first electrode lead-out hole and the conductive sealing ring surrounding the first terminal and sealing the first electrode lead-out hole, wherein the conductive sealing ring is in a compression state, the first terminal is electrically connected with the cover sheet through the conductive sealing ring, and the conductive sealing ring has a resistance value greater than a resistance value of the first terminal.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a secondary battery which comprises a cap plate, an electrode assembly and a first connecting piece. The cap plate comprises a first electrode terminal; the electrode assembly comprises a main body, a first electrode tab; the first connecting piece is connected between the first electrode tab and the first electrode terminal. The first electrode tab includes a first connecting portion provided below the first connecting piece and a first bending portion connecting the main body and the first connecting portion. The secondary battery further comprises a first protecting piece fixed to a bottom of the first connecting portion. The first protecting piece includes a main portion and a first curve portion connected with an outer end of the main portion and curved relative to the main portion; the first bending portion is bent downwardly along a curved outer wall of the first curve portion.

The inner bag has: an inner bag upper port portion, an inner bag main receiving portion and an inner bag lower port portion. The inner bag upper port portion has an upper port; the inner bag main receiving portion is connected to a lower end of the inner bag upper port portion along an axial direction; the inner bag lower port portion is connected to a lower end of the inner bag main receiving portion along the axial direction and has a lower port for controllable communication with an external hopper entrance. It doe not need to shear the material feeding bag by a scissors when materials is fed, so that it avoids generation of metal debris, and the mating and feeding material operation is fast and simple, and the working environment for an operator is improved.

Abstract: The present application relates to a cell and a method for forming the same. The cell is formed by alternative coiling of anode electrode piece, cathode electrode piece and insulation film, section of cell is of round angle square structure with four vertex angels being round angles. The forming method includes: a) placing cell to be pressed, so that cell is located among top plane, bottom plane and two lateral planes, side of the cell perpendicular to thickness direction contacts bottom plane, certain distance exists between each lateral plane and cell; b) thermo-compressing cell by adopting thermo-compressing manner, so that top plane, bottom plane and two lateral planes press cell together, until section having round angle square structure with four vertex angels being round angles is formed; c) shaping to form cell.
