  • Patent number: 11944867
Abstract: A new kind of portable hangboard intended for finger strength exercises allows the user to adjust the angle of the hangboard and the depth of the finger slot to control the difficulty of the exercise. The main body of the hangboard hangs on a rope. The main body of the hangboard contains multiple slots that the rope can pass through to adjust the angle of the device. The finger slot contained in the main body has magnets at the deep end which allow one or more shims with built in magnets to be inserted to make the slot shallower. The hangboard offers greater portability and variety of exercises compared to other inventions of this class.

Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (“HVAC”) system for use with a refrigerant. The HVAC system includes a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device, an evaporator, and a separator. The compressor is operable to compress the refrigerant. The condenser is positioned downstream of the compressor and operable to condense the refrigerant. The expansion device is positioned downstream of the condenser and operable to reduce a pressure of the refrigerant flowing therethrough. The evaporator is positioned downstream of the expansion device and operable to vaporize the refrigerant from the expansion device. The separator is positioned downstream of the expansion device and operable to separate the refrigerant into liquid refrigerant and gaseous refrigerant. The gaseous refrigerant from the separator and the liquid refrigerant from the separator are combined prior to being compressed by the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20240103953
Abstract: An approach for recommending a prioritized list of replacement of failed drives. The approach receives data associated with failed drives from data centers. The approach segregates the data into variable groups based on a data type. The approach creates a logical layer of entry lists, based on the units, for instantiations of the executable program. The approach sorts the data into priority groups based on priority rules associated with the variable groups and predetermined thresholds. The approach generates a prioritized list of failed drive replacement order based on an ensemble machine learning model. The approach outputs the prioritized list, replacement drive availability information and drive replacement personnel availability information.

  • Publication number: 20240105404
Abstract: A touch screen device is disclosed. The touch screen device includes a touch screen panel having a capacitive sense array, and a passive dial including first, second and third conductive parts. The first conductive part and the third conductive part are in proximity to a surface of the touch screen panel, and the second conductive part is conductively coupled to the third conductive part when the passive dial is pressed and is not conductively coupled to the third conductive part when the passive dial is not pressed. A position of the first conductive part above the capacitive sense array corresponds to a touch index in the capacitive sense array and a position the third conductive part above the capacitive sense array corresponds to a button press index in the capacitive sense array. The first, second and third conductive parts are movable in conjunction with a rotation of the passive dial.

  • Patent number: 11942076
Abstract: A method includes receiving audio data encoding an utterance spoken by a native speaker of a first language, and receiving a biasing term list including one or more terms in a second language different than the first language. The method also includes processing, using a speech recognition model, acoustic features derived from the audio data to generate speech recognition scores for both wordpieces and corresponding phoneme sequences in the first language. The method also includes rescoring the speech recognition scores for the phoneme sequences based on the one or more terms in the biasing term list, and executing, using the speech recognition scores for the wordpieces and the rescored speech recognition scores for the phoneme sequences, a decoding graph to generate a transcription for the utterance.

  • Patent number: 11930868
Abstract: A wearable blanket usable as a blanket, a towel, a wrap, and worn fashionably as a skirt. The front and back fabric panels are trapezoids in shape. Pockets are formed by pocket bags that are positioned between the front and back fabric layers and aligned with seams in the front panel allowing a person to insert their hands into the pocket bags when wearing the wearable blanket. A stretchable belt tab is stretchable, has a hook-and-loop surface portion, and is fastened along an edge of the wearable blanket. A belt receiver has a hook-and-loop portion and is fastened to the front fabric panel. The belt receiver fastens with the stretchable belt tab in a stretched orientation. The recoil force of the stretchable belt tab pulls the top edge of the wearable blanket snuggly around the waist or torso of the person wearing the wearable blanket.

  • Patent number: 11930911
Abstract: A hair grooming device includes a receptacle including a first half hingedly coupled to the second half, a base plate statically seated within the receptacle and including a plurality of bristles attached thereto, a top plate removably stacked on the base plate and seated in the receptacle, the top plate including a plurality of apertures, and a plurality of suction cups coupled to the first half of the receptacle. Advantageously, the bristles are aligned and positioned through the apertures when the top plate is positioned on the base plate. In this manner, the bristles terminate away from the top plate such that the top plate shields the base plate from the hair. Notably, the top plate is freely disengaged from the base plate and capable of both collecting and removing the hair from the receptacle.
