  • Patent number: 11900915
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable media, for speech recognition using multi-dialect and multilingual models. In some implementations, audio data indicating audio characteristics of an utterance is received. Input features determined based on the audio data are provided to a speech recognition model that has been trained to output score indicating the likelihood of linguistic units for each of multiple different language or dialects. The speech recognition model can be one that has been trained using cluster adaptive training. Output that the speech recognition model generated in response to receiving the input features determined based on the audio data is received. A transcription of the utterance generated based on the output of the speech recognition model is provided.

  • Patent number: 11889873
Abstract: A wearable blanket with a distributed weight system for providing gentle and soothing weight on an infant's body without excessive pressure with optional swaddling wings that are removably attached to the wearable blanket. The wearable blanket has an array of subpanels containing weight or pressure-inducing material that can be adjusted to provide evenly distributed weight throughout the front panel of the wearable garment or create a weight gradient to provide more focused weighted support to particular areas of the wearable blanket depending on the physical or medical need of the wearer. The subpanels are compartmentalized and separated from one another to prevent undesirable movement or accumulation of weighed material and may include individual pouches or containers to hold the weight or pressure-inducing material that allows for customization and adjustment of any of a number of the subpanels that constitute the distributed weight system.

Abstract: An apparatus for storing tissue and other biological materials includes a separable flexible container that includes a first layer coupled to a second layer via a set of seals to define a first storage volume and a second storage volume. Separate tissue specimens are containable within the first storage volume and the second storage volume. A first portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a first opening into the first storage volume. A second portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a second opening into the second storage volume. The opening into the first volume and the opening into the second volume are positioned near opposite edges of the flexible container. • Patent number: 11894989
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for performing generating AR experiences on a messaging platform. The methods and systems receive, from a client device, a request to access an augmented reality (AR) experience and access a list of event types associated with the AR experience used to generate one or more metrics. The methods and systems determine that an interaction associated with the AR experience corresponds to a first event type of the list of event types and generates interaction data for the first event type representing the interaction. In response to receiving a request to terminate the AR experience, the systems and methods transmit the interaction data to a remote server.

  • Publication number: 20240028571
Abstract: Entity resolution (i.e., record linkage) involves the analysis/discovering of datasets that refer to the same real world entity. Analysis typically involves transformation and comparison of different fields of the dataset followed by the application of often domain/data specific logic for determining datasets that refer to the same real world entity (e.g., person). Consider, a bulk mailing of product catalogs to potential customers. Some individuals may have numerous public records that identify the individual differently. Illustratively, several records associated with Jane Doe at her current home address may exist: one record with her name listed as J. Doe, a second record as Jane H. Doe, a third record as Doe, Jane, and a fourth record as Jan Doe (a misspelling). Conceivably, the bulk mailing could unwittingly send multiple catalogs to Jane Doe at her current address, one for each name variation. The entity resolution process described herein can overcome such problems.

  • Publication number: 20240029719
Abstract: A single E2E multitask model includes a speech recognition model and an endpointer model. The speech recognition model includes an audio encoder configured to encode a sequence of audio frames into corresponding higher-order feature representations, and a decoder configured to generate probability distributions over possible speech recognition hypotheses for the sequence of audio frames based on the higher-order feature representations. The endpointer model is configured to operate between a VAD mode and an EOQ detection mode. During the VAD mode, the endpointer model receives input audio frames, and determines, for each input audio frame, whether the input audio frame includes speech. During the EOQ detection mode, the endpointer model receives latent representations for the sequence of audio frames output from the audio encoder, and determines, for each of the latent representation, whether the latent representation includes final silence.

  • Publication number: 20240019185
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a HVAC system operable to use a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit to heat or cool an indoor space and includes a defrost circuit connected to the refrigerant circuit. The defrost circuit includes a first three-way valve, a defrost line, a defrost passage in an outdoor heat exchanger, and a defrost return line. When the HVAC system is in a defrost mode, a four-way valve is operable to direct the refrigerant flow in a second direction through the outdoor heat exchanger. The first three-way valve is operable to divert some or all of the refrigerant from the refrigerant circuit and through the defrost circuit to defrost the outdoor heat exchanger. The defrost return line returns the diverted refrigerant to the refrigerant circuit upstream of an expansion device and downstream of the indoor heat exchange with respect to the second direction.
