Abstract: There is provided a load distribution function that enables an application of a user to be freely allocated to a machine even if an address of a terminal or the application used by the user is duplicated between VPNs for each user. An access detector of a machine allocation device detects a start packet from received communication packets, and determines the type of the start packet and the type of the application used by the terminal. A machine allocation manager determines a machine on which the determined application operates, and operates the machine. A network manager configures a user virtual network on a second virtual network between the determined machine and the machine allocation device.

Abstract: A computer receives one or more processing requests from at least one or more clients through a network and executes an application for processing the received processing requests using a Java servlet. The processing requests each contain one or more addresses as the destinations of the processing requests. The computer is connected to a database including the following information: application information in which an identifier that uniquely identifies each application and binary logic for executing the application are brought into correspondence with each other; and adapter information in which the identifier and each of the addresses are brought into correspondence with each other. When the computer receives the processing request, it identifies the binary logic based on an address contained in the received processing request and executes the identified binary logic and thereby executes the application.

Abstract: Disclosed here is a method for sending/receiving a message through a session control server disposed in each of hierarchical layers of a network system having a hierarchical structure. To achieve the above object, each of the session control servers is provided with operation mode confirming means for confirming a set operation mode and fixed destination solution means for setting an address so as to relay each received message to a specific address in accordance with the set operation mode. The session control server is also provided with location solution means for registering/managing a public address to be opened to external by a user and a user address given in the sub-domain to which the user belongs actually. Because a parent domain address can be used as an address to be opened to external for operating the session control server, the problems to occur due to a change of the user belonging sub-domain can be hidden from external and the parent domain can manage message traffics collectively.

Abstract: A reservation processing is executed according to the configuration request to VPN and network device to inform a user's terminal of scheduled period. In a network system including plural network devices for transmitting a packet and a management server, plural logical networks (VPNs) are formed on the plural network devices. The management server receives a configuration request including configuration data for VPN and configuration desired time from a user's terminal to generate the configuration data for the network device from the configuration data for the VPN. The management server refers to a configuration reservation table to confirm whether free time is available in the same period about all target network devices. If free time is available, the management server makes configuration reservation and configures the target network device in the reserved time. The management server notifies the user's terminal of the reserved time.

Then, the presence server 5 sends the change notification message received from the IM(X) server 3 to the IM(Y) server 4 (S908). The IM(Y) server 4 sends the change notification message received from the presence server 5 to a client B2 (S910).

Abstract: The object of the invention is to make communication between users smoother utilizing terminal type information. To achieve the object, a terminal type is specified based upon information in login and information acquired by adding the information to presence information is notified. Besides, terminals of the same type are connected by an SIP server. The selection of the communication means of voice communications and a character chat when communication is started and the specification of a calling terminal at a partner terminal are enabled by adding terminal information to presence information and grasping mutual owned terminals. Detailed status can be grasped based upon presence information of the same name by grasping presence information and terminal information. The user terminals include a first user terminal for originating a question and a second user terminal for responding to the question originated from the first user terminal. The management server comprising: an interface coupled to the network; a processor coupled to the interface; and a memory coupled to the processor. The management server calculates an unresponsive time taken until the second user terminal becomes ready to receive a notification of the question transmitted from the first user terminal by referring the presence information acquired from the presence server upon detection of an origination of the question from the first user terminal, estimates an expected response time of the second user terminal based on the calculated unresponsive time, and notifies the first user terminal of the estimated expected response time.

Abstract: Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), a protocol used in VoIP (Voice over IP) communications, enables a caller to send a SIP message to a callee with his/her UserID concealed from the callee, which in turn, prevents A SIP server from making an attempt to manage the caller. If the same IP Telephone address is used whenever the IP call is made, a third party may guess the IP address easily during conversation. The SIP message sent by the caller is converted and conversion tables are managed by the SIP server. The IP Telephone modifies its IP address for each IP call. Thus, the caller can make a call to the callee with his/her UserID concealed from the callee using the SIP server with a message conversion function and communications carriers having SIP servers installed to manage the callers using their conversion tables. It is difficult to any malicious third party to guess the IP Telephone address, because the IP Telephone address is modified for each call.

Abstract: A data distribution system is provided which, in a network where data is exchanged between users, prevents the users from downloading malicious data without knowing whether the data he or she is going to download is the desired data. In a system configuration, a network administrator makes publicly known to the users, distributor identifiers uniquely assigned to data distributors in advance, and prohibits a data distribution by a user with a distributor identifier when the administration is notified that a malicious data has been distributed from the user, thereby securing reliability of the data distributors. A signature of the data is used to detect tampered data and prevent such data from being redistributed. Further, a user who tampered with the data is identified and then prevented from using the network.
