  • Publication number: 20150272422
Abstract: An endoscope system comprises an LED light source unit, an image sensor, an imaging distance calculator and a light source controller. The LED light source unit generates illumination light. The image sensor has a blue pixel, a green pixel, a red pixel and a specific pixel receiving at least light in a blue wavelength band and a green wavelength light, and images an observation object by reflected light of the illumination light from the observation object. The imaging distance calculator calculates an imaging distance that is a distance between the image sensor and the observation object. The light source controller controls the light source unit to increase a component of the blue wavelength band or the green wavelength band included in the illumination light according to the imaging distance.

  • Patent number: 8406492
Abstract: There is provided an image detecting system including an image detecting section that detects a moving image of an examination subject into which a radiopaque contrast medium flows through one of an artery and a portal vein, and a change image generating section that generates a change image representing a change in the moving image. Here, the change is caused by movement of the radiopaque contrast medium after a timing at which the radiopaque contrast medium that has flown into one of the artery and the portal vein flows into capillaries.

  • Patent number: 8077828
Abstract: When the same subject is to be imaged consecutively plural times, a radiation imaging device is controlled so as to change an imaging time interval between respective imagings according to a set imaging region of the subject. When a chest portion of a subject is to be imaged, a control section designates an image obtained at a second imaging as an image for diagnosis, image quality correction processing is not performed at a first imaging, and an imaging time interval is greatly reduced compared to when other regions are imaged, thereby reducing motion artifacts of an energy subtraction image. When regions other than a chest region are imaged, the control section designates an image obtained at a first imaging as an image for diagnosis, performs image quality correction processing at the first imaging, and an imaging time interval is increased compared to when the chest region is imaged.

  • Patent number: 7720302
Abstract: An analyzing means first calculates the blur direction and blur level of a digital photograph image based on edge widths and histograms of the edge widths obtained in each direction, and discriminates whether the image is a blurred image or a normal image. Then, it further calculates the camera shake level and blur width for the image discriminated to be a blurred image. A parameter setting means sets a one-dimensional correction mask and a two-dimensional correction mask based on the blur width. It also sets a correction level based on the blur level. It further makes an adjustment to the ratio between the one-dimensional and two-dimensional correction masks based on the camera shake level.

  • Patent number: 7679778
Abstract: Saturation to white and fading of subjects' faces are prevented when performing density correction on digital images. An average signal value, obtained from a photographic image, is compared against a predetermined reference value, to judge whether correction is to be administered to brighten or darken the photographic image. A corrected image constituted by corrected signal values, which are obtained by correcting the pixel signal values of the photographic image with a predetermined correction amount, is generated only in cases that it is judged that correction to brighten the photographic image is to be administered. At this time, if the brightness represented by signal values of pixels of the photographic image are greater than or equal to a predetermined brightness, the correction amount is gradually reduced as the signal values become brighter.

  • Patent number: 7596273
Abstract: Edges are efficiently extracted from digital photographic images. A reduction rate determining means determines reduction rates for images, such that larger images are assigned higher reduction intensities. A reduction executing means reduces an image, employing the reduction rate determined by the reduction rate determining means, to obtain a reduced image. An edge detecting means extracts edges in eight directions from the reduced image. Coordinate positions of the edges in each directions are obtained, and output to an edge profile generating means.

  • Patent number: 7511745
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an imaging method and apparatus that provide facility to verify focus condition of images obtained without missing the chance of snapping a shot. A series of image data sets are obtained by an imaging device through a consecutive imaging method or the like, and stored in a storage device. The plurality of image data sets is displayed sequentially on an LCD monitor, and a region of a predetermined range extracted. The image data set corresponding to the extracted region of the predetermined range is enlarged in an enlarging device to obtain an enlarged image data set. A display controller sequentially displays the enlarged image data sets on the LCD monitor. In this fashion, the defocused levels of the images, that is, whether or not the images are in focus, can be verified in an unhurried manner after the image data sets are obtained.
