  • Patent number: 9600225
Abstract: Data broadcast data, which is broadcast in data broadcasts, is constructed by disposing, for example, EMD (Electric Music Distribution) links required to acquire song data as actual broadcast data, which is broadcast in actual broadcasts by a transmitting device, the actual broadcast data is transmitted, and the data broadcast data wherein the EMD links for the song data in the actual broadcasts are disposed, is transmitted periodically during the transmission of the actual broadcast data. The actual broadcast data and the data broadcast data are received by a user terminal, and the EMD links disposed in the data broadcast data are stored whenever there is an input of an operation to attach a “bookmark”. Thus, audio data such as songs in programs broadcast can easily be acquired by radio.

  • Patent number: 8166186
Abstract: A content distribution method includes sending, by a client apparatus, distribution requests to server apparatuses via a network, the distribution requests requesting distribution of content data in a distributed manner on a packet basis; distributing, by the server apparatuses, the content data to the client apparatus in response to the distribution requests; and playing back, by the client apparatus, the content data by assembling packets distributed from the server apparatuses. The distribution requesting step includes assigning areas of each block of the content data to the server apparatuses, and sending distribution requests for the respective areas to the server apparatuses. The distributing step includes dividing the content data into blocks when distribution of the content data is requested, and distributing the areas of each block in response to the distribution requests.

  • Patent number: 8006102
Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus for transmitting data, such as encrypted content data. A device that is to be a destination of transmission is authenticated. If the device has not been authenticated, encrypted data read out from a storage unit is decrypted to give decoded data which then is re-encrypted based on innate key data acquired from the device that is to be the destination of transmission to give re-encrypted data. The re-encrypted data is then transmitted to the device that is to be a destination of transmission.

  • Patent number: 8000218
Abstract: Payload 0 as a header is recorded to a head of a UDI area. In the case of recording payload 0 and other payloads, each of them is quintuple-recorded in order to take a countermeasure against errors. Other payloads such as payload 1 and the like are recorded after payload 0. In the case of quintuple-recording, the payloads of the same payload number are collectively quintuple-recorded. AUDI is recorded from a position after one second from start time S. The payloads are arranged in positions at 12-frame intervals. Thus, the five data which is multiple-written are not arranged in the radial direction of a disc but widely distributed onto tracks. Error resistance is improved. An interval of data is set to an optimum value in accordance with the number of multiple-writing times, a linear velocity, a recording position on the disc, and the like.
