The rubber composition for tire inner layers preferably contains C48 and higher normal alkanes in a combined amount of not more than 0.1 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber component. The rubber composition preferably contains not more than 15 parts by mass of process oil per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber component.
