  • Patent number: 7796741
Abstract: The invention provides a call connection control method which can use a conventional telephone as-is and performing linking with a low possibility of mistaking telephones, and a call connection control unit for implementing the method. Upon receiving an outgoing call request from an outgoing-call side personal computer (PC), a call connection control unit retrieves an outgoing-call side IP-telephone linked to the PC, and transmits an incoming call request to the IP-telephone. Upon receiving the incoming call request, the IP-telephone rings. When the caller places the IP-telephone that rings in a starting (off-hook) state, the call connection control unit sends a ring back tone to the IP-telephone and transmits an incoming call request to an incoming-call side IP-telephone. Upon receiving the incoming call request, the IP-telephone rings. When the recipient places the IP-telephone that rings in a starting state, the call connection control unit enables a call between the two IP-telephones.

  • Publication number: 20100177245
Abstract: If a device non-compatible with CEC is contained in an input path when a display apparatus is HDMI-connected hierarchically to a plurality of external devices, an external device which has transmitted <Active Source> is selected as an operation object device. A TV (100) is HDMI-connected hierarchically to external devices (an AV amplifier (20a), recorders (10a, 10c), a DVD player (10b)) in a tree shape. The TV (100) receives <Active Source> indicating an active state capable of video output from the DVD player (10b) and transmits <Set Stream Path> for switching the input path to the DVD player (10b). When a device non-compatible with CEC (AV amplifier (20a)) is contained in the input path which transmits <Set Stream Path>, the TV (100) selects the DVD player (10b) specified <Active Source> as an operation object device.

  • Publication number: 20090284536
Abstract: A display apparatus is provided that is capable of selecting an external device to which a CEC message is transmitted according to a user's operation to switch input as a device for operation, even when the device is not in an active state. A television apparatus 100 includes an HDMI terminal connected to an external device and is connected hierarchically in a tree structure to a plurality of external devices through the HDMI terminal. When input switching is instructed to any of the plurality of external devices according to a user's operation to switch input, the television apparatus 100 transmits a CEC message of <Set Stream Path> for switching an input route to the external device to which the instruction of input switching has been given and selects an external device to be a transmission destination of the CEC message of <Set Stream Path> as a device for operation.

  • Patent number: 7610521
Abstract: A communication control system has a plurality of control units that are connected via a communication bus to provide bidirectional communication. A control unit detects a failure when it occurs. Upon failure detection, the control unit generates a failure detection signal which operates a communication signal cutoff means to cut off the communication signal transmission from the control unit. In accordance with the communication signal reception state in a control unit other than the control unit in which the failure is detected, the former control unit identifies a failure occurrence in the latter faulty control unit.

  • Publication number: 20090228184
Abstract: A cruise control device and an obstacle detection device are provided which achieve a safe and appropriate tracking control by avoiding a sudden recognition of a short following distance when a preceding vehicle is found in an uphill or downhill gradient, in a curve, or at an intersection, or by reducing the damage of a crash when the crash cannot be avoided. An obstacle determination process section is provided which receives information from a sensor which detects an obstacle, receives terrain information of the position of the host vehicle from a navigation device, and determines the presence of the obstacle when a predetermined condition is satisfied after the sensor detects the obstacle. The predetermined condition to determine the presence of the obstacle is changed based on the terrain information of the position of the host vehicle received from the navigation device.

  • Patent number: 7577135
Abstract: When a trouble is developed in an IP exchange (TM) 2 or a circuit (network) 5, a backup exchange 6 (backup TM) is switched over from a waiting system to an operating system, and all IP terminals Eqi inside lodgments A, B, . . . N also log out from the IP exchange (TM) 2, and transmit the IP addresses to the backup exchanges 6 (backup TM) inside own lodgment, respectively, and log in there with a result that the extension telephone calls inside own lodgment is made possible by a control of the backup exchange 6 (backup TM), and therefore, even when a fault occurs in the IP exchange or the circuit, the IP terminals inside the lodgment are backed up and the actuations of the IP terminals are continuously operated, and for example, the extension phone calls inside the lodgment can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20080189040
Abstract: According to the present invention, an obstacle detection means detects an obstacle. An action range presumption unit presumes an action range in which the obstacle can exist in a predetermined time if the obstacle accelerates, decelerates, or turns on the basis of the moving performance of the obstacle detected by the obstacle detection means. An action probability presumption unit presumes a probability of the obstacle existing in the action range on the basis of the conditions of the road on which a host vehicle and the obstacle exist and the action history of the obstacle. A driving operation support unit determines a target locus which prevents the host vehicle from moving into the presumed action range or to a position where the action probability is high and generates vehicle control information necessary for making the host vehicle run along the target locus. The driving operation support unit gives the driver instructions and warnings and assists the driver with driving operation support operations.

  • Patent number: 7282810
Abstract: An electric power supply system for a vehicle has an electric power line wired in a loop configuration. From the electric power line power is supplied to a load, and to another system which supplies control system power supply. One shutdown circuit is provided in a module connected to the loop configured power supply line. When the electric power line and the load are short circuited, the shutdown can isolate and shut down only the failure point. Further, when the car is not in use, by stopping the power supply to the load, current consumption can be restrained. In response to detection of a ground short and a failure of a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line, a simple construction can be provided and a low current consumption can be realized.
