  • Publication number: 20070293103
Abstract: An operating state determining device can determine whether or not an engine is in a certain operating state. A mode setting device can disable mode setting into a speed setting mode if a certain operating state of the engine has been determined, and can enable mode setting into the speed setting mode if the engine is not in the operating state.

  • Patent number: 7282810
Abstract: An electric power supply system for a vehicle has an electric power line wired in a loop configuration. From the electric power line power is supplied to a load, and to another system which supplies control system power supply. One shutdown circuit is provided in a module connected to the loop configured power supply line. When the electric power line and the load are short circuited, the shutdown can isolate and shut down only the failure point. Further, when the car is not in use, by stopping the power supply to the load, current consumption can be restrained. In response to detection of a ground short and a failure of a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line, a simple construction can be provided and a low current consumption can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20070121827
Abstract: The invention provide a call connection control method of using a conventional telephone as-is and performing cooperation with low possibility of mistaking the telephone and a call connection control unit for implementing the method. On receiving an outgoing request from an outgoing-side Personal Computer, a call connection control unit searches for an outgoing-side IP-Telephone which is cooperated, and transmits an incoming request to the IP-Telephone. On receiving the incoming request, the IP-Telephone sounds a ringing tone. If a caller puts the IP-Telephone having sounded the ringing tone in a Starting State, the call connection control unit sends out a Ring Back Tone to the IP-Telephone and transmits an incoming request to an incoming-side IP-Telephone. On receiving the incoming request, the IP-Telephone sounds a ringing tone.

  • Patent number: 7182106
Abstract: Under a reduced-pressure environment, stopping at will liquid that flows out from a nozzle tip, or dispensing liquid with the level of energy at which it will not splatter has proven difficult. To address such difficulties, parameters including nozzle bore, and surface tension and viscosity of, and delivery pressure on, a liquid are selected so that the surface tension that acts on the liquid when flowing out from the nozzle tip will be greater than the momentum of the liquid. By dispensing liquid under such conditions, outflow of the liquid is reliably controlled, and rapid infusion work is realized.

  • Publication number: 20070035681
Abstract: A polarizing film which comprises a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film and iodine being adsorbed thereon and oriented, and is prepared, for example, by subjecting the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film to a dyeing treatment, to a stretching treatment, to a boric acid treatment and further to a complementary color treatment in which the film is immersed in a solution containing a chlorinated compound. The polarizing film is so adjusted as to have a boric acid content of 5 to 40 weight % by the dyeing treatment, stretching treatment and boric acid treatment, and also to have a chlorine ion content of 200 to 10,000 ppm by the complementary color treatment. The above polarizing film retains an achromatic hue when it is arranged at a parallel Nicol position, and also exhibits improved durability of its optical characteristics under a high temperature and high humidity condition, and a high temperature condition.

  • Patent number: 7168463
Abstract: Method of charging dynamic-pressure bearing device with lubricating fluid. Preparatorily, lubricating fluid is put into a vacuum chamber and the chamber is vacuum-evacuated to subject the lubricating fluid to a degassing process. An appropriate quantity of fluid is dispensed in one end of the bearing gap, with the bearing device having been placed in a reduced-pressure ambient. In carrying out the dispensation, the pressure of the ambient is adjusted so as to be higher than the pressure during the degassing process. The method in this way prevents the lubricating fluid from frothing when it is being dispensed, and makes it possible to charge dynamic-pressure bearing devices with lubricating fluid without soiling the bearing-device surfaces with splashes or other contaminants.

  • Publication number: 20060217997
Abstract: When a trouble is developed in an IP exchange (TM) 2 or a circuit (network) 5, a backup exchange 6 (backup TM) is switched over from a waiting system to an operating system, and all IP terminals Eqi inside lodgments A, B, . . . N also log out from the IP exchange (TM) 2, and transmit the IP addresses to the backup exchanges 6 (backup TM) inside own lodgment, respectively, and log in there with a result that the extension telephone calls inside own lodgment is made possible by a control of the backup exchange 6 (backup TM), and therefore, even when a fault occurs in the IP exchange or the circuit, the IP terminals inside the lodgment are backed up and the actuations of the IP terminals are continuously operated, and for example, the extension phone calls inside the lodgment can be realized.

  • Patent number: 7043839
Abstract: Manufacturing method enabling optimal volume oil-fill even where differing from bearing to bearing due to machining fluctuations in volume-production dynamic pressure bearings. In a first charging method, injection of oil is divided into two cycles. The first is carried out under reduced pressure, following which the pressure is raised a predetermined amount to force the oil into the bearing gap. The oil-fill status is thereupon checked, the shortage is reckoned, and in the second cycle the shortage is injected. In a second charging method, in a first cycle a surplus volume is injected under reduced pressure and the pressure is raised a predetermined amount to force the oil into the bearing gap. Following that, what is in excess of the appropriate amount is removed from the bearing. The first cycle of injection and the pressure elevation may be implemented multiple times, in between which repeat pressure-reduction can be carried out.

  • Patent number: 7028819
Abstract: A power supply line is wired in a loop from a battery power supply, and a power supply relay circuit is installed intermediately of the power supply line such that power is supplied from the power supply relay circuit to an electric load connected to a terminal unit of an intensive wiring line. By this arrangement, not only wires for control signals but also wires for power supply can be reduced. The terminal unit may serve also as the power supply relay circuit.

  • Publication number: 20050183906
Abstract: Infusion apparatus for dispensing lubricating fluid into a dynamic-pressure bearing device. Apparatus is made up of: a lubricating-fluid tank whose interior is filled partway with lubricating fluid; a vacuum chamber for placing the bearing device under a reduced-pressure environment; a nozzle for streaming the lubricating fluid into the bearing device; and a vacuum-evacuation system for evacuating and repressurizing the interior of the lubricating-fluid tank and of the vacuum chamber. Air dissolved into the lubricating fluid is eliminated by pumping-down the hollow, fluid-absent portion of the lubricating-fluid tank. Then repressurizing the hollow portion enables pressure to be applied to the lubricating fluid to force it out through the nozzle tip. The vacuum chamber interior may be pumped down to the optimum pressure for charging the bearing device with the lubricating fluid.

  • Patent number: 6865471
Abstract: A vehicle cruise control apparatus is provided for controlling a vehicle to run at a set speed desired by a driver. The apparatus stores a state in which the driver inputs a set speed (for example, the number of times the driver inputs the set speeds and a period at which the driver inputs the set speeds), and calculates a target acceleration/deceleration from the input state and a vehicle speed deviation (calculated by subtracting the actual vehicle speed from the set speed).
