  • Patent number: 11753039
Abstract: A collaborative autonomous ground vehicle or robot for traversing a ground surface is disclosed. The robot is a wheeled vehicle includes two camera groups and other sensors to sense the environment in which the robot will operate. The robot includes a control system configured to operate in a teach mode to learn a route by either following a person or preceding a person and to store the learned route as a taught route. The control system is configured for identifying persons and objects, such as obstacles, within the fields of view of the camera groups. When the robot is in its repeat mode it will take the taught route over the ground surface and take appropriate action if an obstacle is identified in the field of view.

Date of Patent: September 12, 2023
    Assignee: Augean Robotics, Inc.
Inventors: Terry Scott, Berkay Ilhan, Vibhor Sood, Charles Andersen

  • Patent number: 8596520
Abstract: A waterproof, anti-wicking, and fully recyclable corrugated container comprises a base portion having a bottom wall, a pair of opposite side walls, a pair of opposite end walls, and a plurality of joined flaps foldably joined with the side walls and the end walls. Each of the plurality of the joined flap folds onto itself to form a gusset that is attached to the respective side walls. A lid portion is telescopically engaged over the base portion such that is coextensive in length and width with the base portion side walls and end walls. The lid portion comprises a score or crease line formed along near free edge of the side walls to inhibit liquid from traveling up through the side walls.

  • Patent number: 7592736
Abstract: A permanent magnet electric generator includes a housing, and a stator and a rotor assembly disposed inside the housing. The rotor assembly has annular inner and outer rings concentric with the axis of rotation. A plurality of permanent magnets is distributed on the inner surface of the outer ring. The stator assembly includes a plurality of stator blocks configured to form an annular ring-shaped stator member. The stator member is concentric with the axis of rotation and is interposed between the inner and outer rings such that the outer ring circumferentially encircles the stator member. The stator member is wound with a three-phase winding for a three-phase voltage output.

Abstract: A permanent magnet electric generator includes a housing, and a stator and a rotor assembly disposed inside the housing. The rotor assembly is concentric with an axis of rotation. The rotor assembly has annular inner and outer rings concentric with the axis of rotation. The rotor assembly is adapted to be rotationally coupled to a shaft. The shaft is rotationally coupled to a source of rotational energy for rotating the rotor assembly. A plurality of permanent magnets are distributed on the inner surface of the outer ring. Each magnet has a north pole and a south pole aligned to the axis of rotation such that adjacent magnets have poles of alternating polarity. The permanent magnets are distributed circumferentially on the inner surface of the outer ring and in close proximity to the stator blocks. The stator assembly is at a static location with respect to and in close proximity to the rotor assembly.
